These are expensive but we have a fire pit in a table and if we put wood on the fire, it smokes, spits and chokes everyone.These hardly smoke at all, do NOT spit and burn really well - perhaps a little too fast would be my only criticism

Perfect Chopped wood alternative. Great for Rayburns.
I bought this product without really knowing what it was but decided I wanted an alternative the messy/random sized stack of wood I use to warm my cottage mostly in winter but on the colder summer nights as well.I took a punt as I needed something compact enough to fit in my tiny RayBurn, other 'heatlogs' can be do big and I'm not a fan of the 'nuggets' you can buy by the bag. I often find myself chopping wood I've bought into manageable sizes to make sure I've got it at the right temp as to not over/underload. These work great as they are consistent. I can chuck a couple in before I go to bed and it keeps my house warm for several hours through the night.The other pro I've found is that they leave very little waste just a white ash that is easy to clear out. I've also used them on an outdoor fire pit in the summer and they work well as fuel on that as well.Overall very happy to have found this product

good deal at the time
I bought these logs as I had similar ones before. They were easy to light, don't make a big mess but there seemed to be an "after smell". Although the room is well ventilated this weird smell was still around the next day. But maybe I am a bit fussy ?

Was skeptical after one or two reviews but went ahead and ordered and they are good I must say, very nice fire.

Smoking badly - Very disappointed
These logs smoke so badly that we couldn’t sit out when we lit one in our fire pit….Only used 3 logs (1 didn’t smoke as bad). Can’t use these logs due to the horrendous smoking of them. Tried on 3 occasions to see if there was any improvement but no luck….
