Great Cooktop
This Forimo replaces my worn out Suburban and it is far superior in every way to that cooktop. It is easy to light and the controls are very responsive and easy to manipulate. It is easy to clean. It was easy to install, though I have read comments on how difficult that part is. It came with a hole cut-out template that was the wrong size but it was easy enough to figure out what size hole was needed. There are no instructions on how to hook it up to the gas line. Apparently Forimo has the funny idea that you should hire that done. It comes with a kind of a foreign looking fitting I have never seen before and that was confusing. But I quickly learned that it can be switched out for a standard fitting with no trouble because once the weird fitting is removed you are looking at the male end of a standard 1/2” pipe thread. I replaced the weird fitting with a 1/2” “L” to 3/8” flare and then used a standard flexible 3/8” LPG connector hose. It doesn’t come with a regulator so I installed a standard 11” propane one.Works great and you can’t beat the price!

AWESOME 4 BURNER RV STOVETOP!!!!
This is an AWESOME RV stovetop!! Our old RV had a very ridiculous 2 burner stove, that drove me nuts trying to cook a meal on. This stovetop is already set up for LPG, but can be converted to NG, with the right fittings. My husband used the pressure regulator from our old stovetop, and we had to go to the hardware store for other fittings, to complete the job hooking up the gaslines. He had to cut out a bigger hole in our Corian countertop, and he fabricated up his own fasteners to secure it to the countertop from underneath.BUYER BEWARE this stovetop comes with NO instructions for installation WHATSOEVER, also there are not parts to help you secure it etc!!! There is a little booklet, that is of no help! My husband is a plumber/welder/fabricator and mechanic, I really don't think the average person could tackle this without professional help.

The product went bad after 3 1/2 weeks.
Had the product installed and it was working fine. After 3 1/2 weeks of use the flames/ burners became very low and wouldn't heat the food anymore. Took the time to call the gas company. also, replaced the connection gas valve, but neither were the problem. This product was faulty and was not returnable after 1 month. I had to buy another new cooktop, pay someone to install, etc. Infuriating.

A good value for the money.
I purchased this stove top for my off grid cabin. After a couple of weeks of using it, I'm quite pleased. I think it will do well in the long term.It arrived packaged well, no damage. I think I probably could have pushed it off a table onto the floor and it would not have been damaged.Pot spills happen, it's easy to clean up the mess on the stainless steel base. Nothing flows into burners. The stove starts easily.I made a cutout in a 1 1/2" butcher block counter top. The product description states: "The built-in gas cooker with cutout size 22”W x 20 1/2”H, is ready for natural gas installation and includes an easy to use liquefied gas conversion kit.". My connotation of "cutout" is the size of the hole the stove sits in. The dimensions given are actually the size of stove. The Instruction manual provides the recommended cutout size - in mm. A little math in needed to get the answer. There are two items keeping this from a 5 star rating.1. The stove comes with plastic feet, I assume to sit on a table top. There is no way provided to anchor the stove to the counter top when it is installed in the cutout. I will probably remove the feet and fabricate a metal cross piece.2. The cord for the stove (provides power to create the spark) is short. Fortunately I could move my outlet on the wall so the cord would reach. I suspect most users will need an extension cord.

You'll need to buy additional adapters and fittings
Just a heads up, if installing in America using natural gas you'll need to buy an adapter with a 3/8" female flare end to go to the pipe coming out of the stove. You'll then need to adapt it to whatever fuel pressure regulator you buy calls for. Then grin regulator you'll need to buy a flexible gas line kit to go to your shut off.
