Great travel backpack
I've used this backpack daily for the last few months and it still looks day 1 new. The helmet pouch holds pretty tight. The zippers are still silky smooth. The straps are just as easy as any other bags except the shoulder straps when you have them all the way out you have to kind of work them loose to tighten them again but it's not really a negative thing.

Not perfect but not bad either
There are five compression straps that have to be unclipped before you can open the main compartment. Yes, FIVE. It's not a thick nor large backpack, so I have no need for the compression straps and immediately removed all of them. Much better experience now. The "waist strap" is more like a sternum strap. This bag is not very tall; it doesn't sit all that low on your back (not a bad thing at all). I also removed the awkward waist strap. I don't think the product picture of it securing a helmet is quite fair. That has to be an XXS helmet! You can squeeze in an XL motorcycle helmet, but you're going to be at the ends of the adjustments and still needing more. I use it to store my riding jacket instead. Works great on hot days when I'm running in and out of stores and whatnot. The zippers are great quality and large, not small, fragile teeth like some. I had to take a lighter to the entire backpack to secure all of the lose threads. It was a little surprising how many there were. I ride with a hydration bladder and this pack does not support that. I had to take a hot knife to the shell and make a small port for mine. After all of that, I'm quite happy with the bag. It's comfortable to ride with, feels secure, and provides some versatility during my rides. For the price, I'd definitely recommend it to a fellow rider. Just know, you may be in for some DIY to make it fit your needs.

Why would you make the waist belt so bad?
This backpack is very nice overall, feel sturdy and durable. Zippers and buckles are thick and sturdy. only downside was the waist belt. Why the designed it in 6 pieces I do not know, but it is a poor design. There are short buckles sown into each side that connect with a short length of belt and then there is a clasp buckle loosely secured on each end of the belt. the first day the clasp buckle fell of of the belt, while trying to secure it back on the belt came loose from the buckle near the backpack, then the same happened for the other side. I ended up throwing all the components in the backpack for my ride home. I am attempting to fix the issue by super gluing the belt at the backpack to keep it securely in the buckle.

Somehow Alive
Its a geat bag that I used for a long time for school and riding my bike. Even after I stopped riding it is still great and fits comfortably. The bag is not very waterproof as most of my textbooks got wet after some rain; however, it managed to survive a crash where I was dragged across the road. Great bag but wish it had more slots for organizing books.
