My son uses this thing almost everyday in our front yard. He and his friends are not professional pilots by any measurable metric, so this thing has crashed hard, and often. It keeps on going. It has been stuck up in trees, and batted down with rake handles or tree trimmers, and it keeps going. It has flown smack into the soft belly midsection of other neighborhood children, and it keeps going. The closest thing I can equate it to in terms of indestructibility is this drone is the Michael Myers of drones. You could probably shoot it, stab it, burn it, run over it, or just plain wish it away but it won’t go to that grave. It is a tank. Recommend for the value.

This is a great beginner plane. My 8 year old son is able to fly and land the plane, actually landing is his favorite part.The plan is very durable, it is made of styrofoam and painted. Some of the paint wore off, but was expected for the use it is getting. It has been crashed into the ground, trees, landed on the roof and knocked off, and is able to be picked up and flown again.The controller is very basic with only forward, reverse, left and right. pretty standard for a product in this price range. Has taken some drops and still functions fine.The only warning here is wind, being such a small, light weight plane anything over a slight breeze will make it difficult to fly.We have had a couple minor issues that were taken care of quickly by the seller.Overall, 5 stars. My son flies the plane daily and loves it.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my son for his birthday, I flew it with him, after finally getting it into the air we had no control over it, and it just kept going higher and further away until it was gone. Now we are unable to do a return obviously because we have no jet, I would not recommend this product. Also, it does not take off from the ground very well, we were able to get it to takeoff from the ground one time, but the rest of the times we just had to throw it. It does not go straight so that it can take off, it just turns and then falls over (shown in video).

Customer support contacted me and sent me a new plane. This time we were a lot more careful and were able to fly it for 45 minutes and I had a lot more fun with my son than expected. The batteries lasted a lot longer than expected. We did have an engine break off but it should be able to be glued back on. For a plane without elevators or ailerons it turns and glides surprisingly well, the controller in the plane powers the two sides differently to cause the turns. It also must have something that stabilizes it because it always stays upright. The plane is pretty affected by wind, not surprising since it is so light. You also need a lot of space, like a soccer field. This is not something you want to do in your back yard unless you have an acre+ of no trees.Edit: Original review: Very flimsy, broke on first use and my 11 year old son never really got to play with it properly. I knew being foam it wouldn't last long but thought the price was reasonable enough I took the risk but seriously it lasted like 30 seconds.

Jet came on time, actually earlier. I took it out of the box, put on the verticals and flew it. Right from the start I could tell that it was going to be a fun plane. It can do a flip but you have to get pretty high. Other than that it's your basic, easy to fly, durable EPP foam plane. It did lose the front landing gear on a crash but you can fashion a skid for the front instead.I did return it b/c the motors stopped working but it was my fault. Nothing to do with the flight.I'm getting another different plane for and extra $50 dollars that uses flaps and a rudder instead of increased thrust but all in all this is a GREAT PLANE! five stars!

It only came with one battery. It used to come with three.

My son got this Jet airplane remote control for his birthday. We are at the park a lot for soccer practice and my son always has a group of boys surrounding him when he has this toy. He loves how smooth it glides in the air and the battery life is great!

Nose cone and Styrofoam tip broke off first crash .not as good control as claimed in discretion very unstable plane.
