Amazing book. As a modeler of 40+ years, this book (and it's about 1 inch thick and hefty!) has a boat load of ideas on how to make your own details to spice up your diorama models. The part I like best is that a lot of them are low buck ideas anyone can do. Almost like a craft book. It covers landscaping, water, plants, rocks, terrain, making barrels and other detail hard parts. Way to much to list in a review. This book will save you money by making a lot of things yourself instead of buying them aftermarket.

Thick heavy book: I've gotten conditioned to see a cover like this and receive a thin book with poor quality pages and pictures. That's not this book. It's hefty, the colors are great, and I'm so excited about the information!! The detail on the process is sparse, but that's par for the course on books like these and I think the information provided LOOKS like it should be enough. And the photos SEEM in-depth enough, and with many photos per project.

This is a really good book.It covers a lot of topics to give model builders ideas to make dioramas better/easier/faster/cheaper to achieve good looking effects/improvements..Sure, you can find a lot of this sort of thing on the internet, but sometimes it's nice to have an "encyclopedic" reference in hand, with good examples and pictures. It's a little pricey, but well worth it.

Nice book, interesting if you are building dioramas or want to build them.

If you want to learn how to build structures from scratch,then this is your book.Ive learned to make building's with so much detail and using materials that every modler should have at hand and if not ,Michaels craft store is your next destination.Nomore expensive verlinden cast buildings for me.Also,covers much,much more ,to much to list here.

Lots of great modeling tips. Very useful if your stuck in a modeling rut.
