Probably not the best option for a Travertine repair solution
I used this to repair a travertine coping tile on the edge of a pool that had a 3"x2" x 1/2" chipped section. The composition in the can is that of damp medium grit sand. The 2 part mixture after adding Part B is not smooth paste or putty. The consistency of the mixed hardener and sand is either runny or gritty. The material cannot be smoothed out like drywall patch, but I was able to sand it smooth after 3 hours with 180 grit emery cloth. The mixed material It is difficult to apply to a vertical surface. It sets up very quickly 5-10 minutes. Very sticky. Sticks to tooling. Might be ok for a sandstone type finish. The color is a greyish tan. In the end I found it acceptable.I cannot recommend this product unless you are willing to go through the extra finishing work or don't mind a rough surface.
