Easy instal and you can feel the difference but not enough to justify the 300 cost

Absolute junk. Repeatedly tried to install this and it just brings up check engine light no matter how long I wait with the key out. Tried to drive it anyway and throttle was disengaged. Took it off and all works fine. Returned it. Had zero problems with pedal commander on my last car.

I bought this directly from the manufacturer, in the description it says that it isn't compatible which is why I bought it directly from the manufacturer. However, after matching the numbers, this is indeed for the Explorer as wellI did a bunch of testing with this once it came in in order to find the perfect setting for me. I don't 80 percent highway driving and I can tell the difference right away.The unit comes automatically set to 5 Race mode, trust me when I say that's too much for an explorer. However, to each his own!I started on sport mode, just on 95 north on Saturday early morning to really test it out, for me, the perfect setting was sport 9, it made the drive so much better ...What I loved is the fact that my mpg became so much better. Which is what I was hoping for... This is my first time using this product on an American car, and it made a difference.I drove this morning on the Merritt which has a lot of hills and it handled it well without that lag that we all hate.I love the fact that I just have to put my foot on the pedal lightly and it moves without lag.I think if I did 100 percent highway, I would keep it on Race 1.This is indeed worth the buy, although the manufacturer has it for much cheaper. I actually paid 260 due to the holiday, and they don't charge tax or shipping.
