I measured the length of the cord on one side from the coin to the of the cord and it measured appx 16".

1 1/2 inches in diameter, 1/4 inch thick. It's a very nice necklace medallion, quality design with some decent weight. I put a heavier braided leather necklace on it. This has a more Aztec dynamic to it and not so much "pirate" bling, lol. Glad I got it.
