Just what I needed

Good quality loupe.

Does what it's supposed to, but it is relatively small for a loupe and doesn't have a large viewing area. It is great for precision work though. I mainly bought it for checking my plethora of old coins out and it is wonderful for that!

The name Nikon guarantees optical quality, but this loupe is surprisingly smaller than most on the market. Also if you order directly from Japan as I did you will avoid the almost 100% mark up by USA dealers. The shipping wait was well worth it in the savings I accrued. I purchased this loupe for a paltry $51.00. Many USA dealers are selling it for $98.00 +.

Purchased as a gift for my husband who is a Jeweler/Pawn Broker. He has used it almost daily since December and he raves about how great and clear the magnification is. The quality is what you would expect a Nikon Loupe to be. Bravo!
