What is the actual height from ground to seat top? it says 18m-5y but it would be more helpful to just know the lowest seat height!\

I gave the Strider as a gift to my 3 year old grandchild. However, the bicycle comes with a brochure showing the seat height range is: 11 - 16 in. This is measured using the XL seat post. The handle bar height range is: 18 - 22 in.

Is the Sport worth the $20 upgrade over the Classic version? Is this bike good for a child 36 inches tall?

Great little bike

It's a good starter, I got one for my grandson and he's getting his balance. I think he's getting ready for bike with training wheels. My only complaint and this is an issue with a lot of beginner bikes, they're not putting bearings in the steering head. It would give the bike a longer life.
