How is the firmness? Does it pop open very easily once inserted?

Since it has inner spines, the firmness of the wole cup is really good yet it's still so soft because of the quality silicone they use. At first I had difficulty getting it to pop open inside but, after a few tries it got easier and easier everytime. I also figured out that it depends on my monthly physiology because sometimes it's harder to insert and some times it's so easy so I guess it depends per person :)

How to get rid of stains? I have had this cup for 1.5yrs but after long use it starts staining with blood.

Hydrogen peroxide (the 1%-3% solutions you get in drug stores) is perfectly safe to use on a menstrual cup. Just soak for a few hours and the stains will lift without compromising the silicone.
