Hey Andrada! While it is extremely rare, a very small percent of customers have reported such an effect. You could consider dialing back the amount or stopping altogether to see if that makes you less sleepy. Then perhaps re-introduce but at a much smaller amount dosage wise. Also, explore taking the 5 defenders with and without food too. Everyone is unique so it is hard to determine potential causes. Hi, Each serving size is 2 capsules and each capsule contains 500mg of 5 Defenders extract powder. 5 Defenders contains equal portions of Reishi, Chaga, Maitake, Shiitake and Turkey Tail mushroom extracts so each capsule contains 100mg of Reishi extract powder. The Reishi extract powder is a 15:1 dual extract so each capsule would contain an equivalent of 1500mg of dried reishi mushrooms. Hope this helps.
