Superb Socks for the Seasoned Walker
I am a dog walker by trade, frequently doing eight to twelve miles of footslog a day, five days a week, and I have been doing so for four years. In that time, I have come to appreciate the value of comfortable, hard wearing boots or shoes, durable, warm, breathable and waterproof clothing, a decent hat that stays on your head in a gale, and perhaps most underrated of all, decent socks. Regular socks just don't hack it. These Danish Endurance brand walking socks are absolutely the best I have ever tried. I take a 7.5 size, and they fit perfectly, don't ride up, and offer support with thick soles, reassuringly supportive around the ankles (providing defence from painful ankle chafing when wearing boots), hard wearing and absorbent. I bought a three pair pack initially, and bought another three-pack within a couple of days, because I was so impressed with them. If you put in a lot of walking miles (with or without a dog), you MUST invest in a decent set of socks - and these Danish Endurance socks are a MUST!!!

Good socks but became more comfortable after washing and drying them
When I first got these socks, they were a bit rough to the touch, but after washing and drying them, they became more soft. They did slightly shrink though so beware of that if they are already snug. I used these socks as a second layer sock while hiking through Iceland. Through wind, rain, and snow, these socks kept my feet considerably warm, and the three pack is great value. Would buy again.

Very good socks, high merino content, comfortable and manage sweat
I wanted something a bit thinner than my normal medium weight Bridgedale hiking socks and these popped up on offer, so thought I would give them a go.As with any new socks I turned them inside out and washed at 40C then dried, mostly to get rid of any fluff that could gather and rub and cause blisters.Really happy with them, they are thinner but did actually feel warmer, I think due to the higher merino content.Feet didn't get too hot and sweaty. No hotspots or rubbing points, so I'm really happy.Shame they weren't offering a triple pack of red, but DE were very helpful.Easy to wash and dry quickly.Really good socks.Size 9-12 fitted my size 10 feet nicely, the leg is quite tight but I'm sure will loosen with wear and washes.

Proper walking socks — warm, breathable, and built to last
These are definitely on the pricier end compared to some brands, but honestly, they’re worth it. I’ve tried plenty of cheaper walking socks over the years and most wear thin or go bobbly pretty quickly — these still feel like new after months of wear. They’re made with real merino wool, which makes such a difference — warm enough for chilly walks but still breathable, so my feet never feel sweaty or too hot. They’re soft without being bulky and feel really well made. You can tell they're designed for proper use, not just for show. The colours are nice too — not loud, but stylish in that classic outdoorsy way. I’ve worn them on long countryside hikes, but they’re also just great for everyday walking or even around the house in winter. If you’re after quality and comfort that lasts, these are a solid investment.

I no longer wear slippers indoors.
I haven't worn these outside yet, but I've worn all 3 pairs inside at least twice, and washed them all three times. They're incredibly comfortable, my feet do not get hot, or cold (my house is always between 20-24C). I have a tiled kitchen which I always wear slippers in during the winter, because the floor gets cold. I haven't felt the cold floor with these socks on, I barely notice a difference between laminate and tile. My feet feel warm all day with these, they're lovely, but they are a little bit slippery on my laminate flooring. I can run and slide into the room like marty mcfly. When the socks are washed, they come out of the machine almost completely dry, which is fantastic because they're not tumble dryer compatible. I bought another brand of merino wool socks (actually with higher percentsge of merino than this brand, but cheaper - £12 for 3 pairs) to compare. In a blind touch test, my wife chose these Danish socks as the more expensive pair. I also think these feel nicer. These also come with a 1 year hole-free guarantee, so hopefully they're durable. I typically walk anywhere from 7k-15k per day.I bought on sale for £25/26 I can't recall. I'll buy more when they're on sale again, if they keep my feet warm outside. These are the best socks I've had in my 30 something years. Are they worth the price? I think so, but as with anything, don't spend above your means. If you can comfortably afford them, and you want warm socks, get them. The colours are nice, too.

Performed well, but the sizing is bizarre
Used these while walking the West Highland Way in Scotland, and they did okay. Comfortable, and good moisture wicking, and didn’t show any signs of wear. The fit, however, was very different for each pair of socks. In the three pack, all of them were visibly different, and felt different on my feet. Absolute roulette each day as to how they were gonna feel, but thankfully they were pretty good socks and didn’t cause me too many problems. I’m a US9 and this was right on the fringe of sizing. I went up, but possibly could’ve gone down
