excellent product, much better than posted reviews
I purchased these bifocal UV blocking transition photochromic "sunglasses" simultaneously with bifocal blue blocking bifocals (LKEYE brand) to better use with my computer (56" monitor). I had previously purchased a pair of PROGRESSIVE blue light blocking reading glasses (LKEYE brand) which proved to be difficult to use with a very , very narrow zone of uncorrected vision (0.0 D) through the top most portion of the lens. To place this in perspective, I'm a 82yo male, post cataract surgery (3 months now), slowly adjusting to new visual parameters. I'm at my computer screen many hours per day and have found the blue light (from the monitor) fatigues and "burns" my eyes. Blue blocking lens (as well as UV blocking sunglasses really help ease the eye strain and discomfort - even with built in monitor protection to lessen the blue light.I strongly disagree with some posted reviews of these Mincl glasses. The bifocal and upper uncorrected (0.0D) lens are quite clear without distortion or peripheral aberration. The transition lens do not darken as much as suggested in the online product photo and do not directly block bright sunlight as much as dedicated polarizing sunglasses, but they definitely "take the edge off" bright sunlight and allow one to read very comfortably in moderately bright sunlight. I believe that a pair of dedicated polarizing sunglasses are needed for comfortable, safe driving or outdoor activities such as playing tennis or sailing. These glasses DO allow one to drive in sunlight and comfortably look down to read instrument gauges and the speedometer - something I could not do well without a bifocal capability. My post surgical implants give me 20/20 vision but make reading the instrument panel very fuzzy. The frames are light, stylish and quite strong. The T90 frame is more flexible and stronger than acetate and somewhat antibacterial as well! Hinges are not spring loaded (unfortunately). The glasses are probably higher priced viv-a-vis many others sold at Amazon (eg. the LKEYE bifocal readers I also purchased are much cheaper but the uncorrected portions of those lens yield slight distortion and do not have photochromic transition protection).Summary: excellent glasses at a fair price with a lovely (almost elegant) eyeglass case and a no scratch lens wipe.

Best balance of function and style with darkest transition lenses in it's price class
I tried dozens of combo readers with transition lenses. These had the right mix of everything I tried many progressive readers and bifocals in this test. I was going on vacation and now I need cheaters for menus and was going to sunny Greece. I would be going back and forth between the beach and town but didn't want to carry a pair of sunglasses AND a pair of cheaters. I liked that there's less of an interruption with the progressives but the 100% area at the top was always smaller than the bifocals. The magnifying area of the bifocals gets in the way sometimes especially going down stairs but in the end chose the bifocals because they did both near and far all around better. I like the style and build quality of these compared to the rest I tried and these lenses got the darkest of all those I tried..... They STILL don't get as dark as more expensive ones over tried but I wanted an inexpensive pair that I would cry about if they got lost in the ocean.

He best reader glasses that tint in the sun.
Being able to look through your glasses and then look down to read or observe up close make these readers a keeper for those who see great far but not up close. Great sturdy tinting reader bifocal glasses for less than $30 is fantastic. How much have you paid for scripted glasses to be transition to sun glasses? 3 figures easy!

Questionable Quality
The metal frame seems of good quality and sturdy. The glasses come in a nice semi rigid case with a cleaning cloth. However, after only about a week of use, one of the small screws that hold the arm on, came out of the left side. I had to try and find a replacement screw and when I did it was too long. But I had to use it because I really needed to use these glasses on a regular basis. Also, the lenses do in fact become darker in the sun but mostly for those viewing them opposite me. The lenses dont seem to block much of the brightness from the sun from my eyes at all. Lastly, the part of the lenses that are not supposed to be a bifocal (just glass) are very slightly off too. Also, the paint on the frame has started to wear off after only 2 weeks. Overall not bad I expected better.

Perfect for me.
My situation is. I wear progressive prescription glasses. That have become to scratched up to see through clearly. I decided to go the reader route. I know I wanted certain features like changing to sunglasses when outside and the reading strength I needed. While still being able to see distance. These glasses are not progressives. But they are an option that works for me when I'm working outdoors. My habbit of tipping my head up to read with my progressives works the same with these. Plus if I scratch these up I won't feel as bad as I do when I scratch my expensive prescriptions. These readers are light and comfortable to wear. And seem very well made. I have purchased a second pair of these for when I need them. They fit the bill for my needs.

Do Not Darken At All
Like the looks and the fit is tight. But they do NOT darken at all. I left them in direct sunlight for 15 minutes and there was no change. Very disappointed.
