Can these cut through a bike gear cable?

I cut 3/32 7X7 galvanized aircraft cable like it is butter. I first bought from Amazon a $26.53 pair of swagright cutters by Hit that are outstanding, I leave them in the shop. I carry these less than 1/2 the price cutters in the woods, they cut just as well.

Will this cut through a small wooden craft dowel? I assume that if it will cut metal it will cut wood?

It will cut through a 1/4" dowel but might not be the best tool for that task. A coping saw or small backsaw would be my first choice

how thick a wire can it cut ?

I used it on 1/8 stainless multistrand cable

Will these cut barbed wire?

As long as it's standard barbed wire, absolutely.
