After I lost my expensive Apple Pencil I went looking for a better solution for its replacement other than the weak magnetic hold that the iPad offers. This is one of those products that the rare combination of attractiveness, a much needed function and very easy to use. I chose this because unlike a lot of similar ones, this has a flap over the opening to provide extra security. The pencil slides in and out easily, while being snug and secure. I have a magic keyboard and it still snaps shut well with this strapped on. This is a must-have if you plan to do anything with your iPad other than have it sit in 1 spot on your desk.

I purchased the Fintie Apple Pencil Holder with USB Adapter Pocket in black for my husband. He has the 12.9 iPad Pro with Apple Smart Cover with a silicone case. The pencil holder fits the cover very well. There is no movement of the elastic. It looks stylish and even though it detracts from the sleekness of the iPad cover and case but that's expected (uhhh the pencil is not flat...it's round) & it works quite well to secure the pen and adapter. He is keeping the adapter in the case and has it had any problems with it thus far. We did not notice any off putting odor. The leather is a decent quality...hey we only spent $8! I would definitely recommend spending the measly $8 to keep your $100 pencil attached and secure. We will update if it does not hold up for an expected length of time. Overall-Pros: economical, well fitting, secure, as unobtrusive as it can be. Con's: The only con is it would be nice to have Velcro to secure the flap on the top rather than having to tuck it into the loop. Great product for the price.

Was looking for something to hold my stylus for my Samsung tablet. Everything seems to be designed for Apple products and then I question whether it will work or not. This works great, and I like having the little flap over the top so I don't have to worry about it falling out or losing the top part that is magnetic and comes off to charge the stylus.

Love how this simple holder has made using my Apple pen easier. Also because it keeps my on my iPad I now use it all the time. Great product!

I have a very basic case for my iPad mini 6 (one that is just a flap to go over the screen and the back) and needed something to hold the pen and thought this looked like a good solution. Even though the description says it fits the iPad mini, the elastic is too loose, even wrapped around my iPad with the case closed. Imagine that it works well with all the other iPad sizes though.Wasn't a complete waste though, as it still works as pen holder for one of my sketchbooks.

used almost three years, keep my pencil safe perfectly. i have ipadpro 6 with magic keyboard.

Originally I was worried that the strap would be too loose and as there’s no adjuster I would be stuck with something flimsy. Boy was I wrong. This mug more sturdy than my cousins at the family bbq. Fits the case perfectly, the strap is tight enough to not get loose if left alone. Case is either high quality fake leather or low quality real leather. Read the description I forgot if they mention it. It’s durable. The top of the case fastens by friction and width so it’s not going to survive a hurricane trying to open it but I feel confident walking around with my secondary pencil in this case. Lastly, the case folds and you can still use it as a stand with this attached. At least for me and my case this works, cannot speak for all cases.
