Why can't I fill out registration as I installed myself and Registration requires contractor information.

My opinion is, it borders on FALSE ADVERTISING. They advertise the units as DIY, and mention warranty. But they recommend pro installation and only offer warranty and support in the instructions if installed by a contractor. I have two units that are working well after 9 months DIY, full winter and so far this summer.

I set mode to cool and temp to 80. the fan keeps blowing even though it was below 80 in the room. Is this expected behavior?

Mine shuts off once it reaches the desired temperature unless I have it in the fan on mode instead of auto mode.

How to clean the fan on the indoor unit? the fan is clogged with mud particles. the unit froze up so i let it sit for about twelve hours to thaw.

You must keep the filter clean. Plus, setting the temperature too low will cause the unit to freeze up. You can remove the cover to get to the fan unit.
