Update: There ARE NOT color fast, we carefully hand washed ad rinsed them when removed from the packaging because of the intense plastic smell from the packaging, the smell went away but they dripped color all over our place which we could not clean up.This is not the same vendor that supplied the original order two years ago (that one was 5 skirts for a lower. price than this one) and we had no problem with color fastness with those original skirts).We suggest that you hand wash/rinse then in a safe place where you can immediately lay them on a drying rack (sweater rack) that is on a stainless steel sink/tub so whatever color drips from them is safely contained (and yes our sweater racks are now stained with their colors).Excellent skirts, very colorful, mixed colors/patterns, very airy silk fabric (not synthetic)This product originally was 5 skirts per order and is now down to 3 skirts per order but they are still a fantastic deal.If what the supplier told us is true (we have no way to verify it, these skirts are made from silk garments in India or China that were damaged and could not be used for celebrations or special events anymore, so what they did was to save all the silk fabrics, cut them into strips that are in like new condition, and sew them together with a strong waistband so now they are usable as beautiful skirts.We are so happy with the original 5 skirts that we just ordered this package of 3 more skirts, its still a great deal.Do be careful with the silk since silk is think and delicate, my wife was wearing them for work and did not realize that she was running over the ends with the wheels of her office chair which tore up and damaged them, but she says that for normal use they are just fine and so we ordered more and she uses than at home and for going outside (just not at work anymore).Do check the dimensions listed for this product in the description area, my wife is tall and is perfect for her but if you are very short then they might be too long if you don't wear heels, the elastic waistband is strong sop they stay in place easily for her but if you are a delicate person then you might find then a little bit tight.Overall they are recommended by my wife and all the ladies at her office wear them.

These are true to size, and vibrant colors (got one purple, one green, and one with yellows and oranges). But they smell soooooo bad. Like diesel exhaust or maybe gasoline. Maybe it's something they spray stuff with to keep the bugs off? IDK but it's nasty bad. I have them hanging up in my garage right now to air out, because they were that stinky that I didn't want them in the house and I didn't want my washer to smell like them. Hopefully they'll air out soon and the rest of the smell will come out in the wash.

I wanted more skirts for bellydance practice, so these seemed like a great deal. I wasn't thrilled that I couldn't at least pick a color palate (I get not being able to select specific fabric, but could it hurt to offer color family/tone/theme options?). The stitching and quality of fabric were good, but the fit was a huge disappointment. The product states "Waist: 26 - 48 inches (stretch)", but there was no way that any of the three skirts would stretch more than 38". Dance is for every body (type, age, shape, gender) and this skirt set isn't even a "one size fits most". I've never had an issue with Wevez prior to this, so I will continue to shop their dance products for my fusion and raqs sharki needs.

These are so beautiful! The label says they're 80% silk and 20% viscose (viscose is made from the cellulose of woody plants and cotton.) The three I got are mostly darker, jewel toned colors; which I prefer.The only issue I have is the elastic. It's cinched way too tightly. Normally not a really huge problem but these are well made (yes, again not normally a problem) so it's going to require a little more effort to remove the elastic so I can wear these. The elastic is about 1 1/4".I like them so much I'm planning on ordering more.Edit: It took less than 10 minutes to carefully take out the stitching that's sewn through the silk and elastic, then carefully cut through the elastic through the tiny holes the ties come out and pulled out the elastic. I used a seam ripper. I'll probably insert a 1/8" to 1/4 inch elastic but they are fine as is.. The top tier is doubled, so there's no actual waistband but there is a channel for the ties, otherwise I'd have just unpicked a bit of the waistband to cut the elastic.Also the length is a trifle long depending on my shoes but, as each tier is completely finished at the edges, just taking out the seam in the bottom tier will fix that and I'll have a belt or hair band/scarf.I washed them by hand in cold water and Ecos laundry detergent, wrung them gently in a bath towel and hung them to dry from the ties. The dye didn't run and they didn't wrinkle.

The skirts are much heavier and made differently than what is shown in the picture. The quality seems fair but the odor coming from them is very strong and requires them to be aired out to remove the majority of the smell. Also, the skirts all say dry clean only...another fact left out of the description. Had I known about the dry clean only I would have NEVER purchased these skirts! These were to be worn whenever and now can't wear them at all. Just could have been a better, more well informed product.
