EVGA - Enough said!
My reviews are just that - mine!I buy everything myself, and my reviews are based on whether I think you should spend your own money on the product. If it's good, I will explain why I like it. If it is somewhat less than good - see my other reviews for some of the items that did not make the grade! So, PSU's (Power Supply Units) for your PC. The least glamorous part of any PC, but also the very centre of it. A poor one gives you all manner of problems while a good one is fitted and basically forgotten about.EVGA don't make poor anything!I have another one of their power supplies in my lad's PC and it has been faultless for the last 2 years (just like the EVGA graphics card also in there). This one was purchased for a friend of a friend who asked for my help when his PC just died one day recently.A quick check confirmed the power supply was dead.He bought the PC a couple of years ago as a prebuilt unit and he commented it had been problematic for about a year now with random errors and crashes that no-one could diagnose! The dead one was a brand I have never heard of and was alarmingly lightweight.I won't repeat what I explained in the previous review other than to say GOOD PSU's won't be lightweight. As this is fully modular (you choose what wires you need and plug them in accordingly (way less mess) it was a breeze to fit and so far it is working perfectly.Oh and all those issues he was having - all gone!I can't say I was surprised about that. voltage fluctuations happen with cheap power supplies and they can cause all manner of issues with a PC.In short, if you need a power supply, this is very highly recommended and an equal to anything by Corsair. Thanks for reading and I hope you found it useful. :)

Very quiet
Good modular power supply capable of supplying a rtx4080. Was easy to replace the Corsair 650W semi modular that I had in the case. Comes with plenty of connectors and cables seem too quality. Is quieter than my previous supply. Great value for what you get.

Smelt like it was burning
After 2 yrs it smelt like it was burning. After taking apart everything in my pc, I found this power supply to be the culprit. Even my old crappy corsair psu lasted longer and there’s still nothing with my old one. Disappointed in this product, shouldn’t have listened to my friend

Nice PSU
I like EVGA, have a PSU and GPU from them now. They make good stuff. I'm really enjoying the power supply. It's pretty sexy too

Never used evga, never will again
Built a pc with this PSU in it, it lasted 2 hours before it went pop, phoned evga and they told me I would have to pay postage and export tax to send it to Germany then I would have to pay import tax to get it back. Sent back to Amazon and got a Corsair one instead

Came faulty
Unit looked good until I tried to power on the system it got stuck in a boot loop, nothing would help it, tried connecting and reconnecting cables. Tried my old PSU everything worked fine, so it's safe to say that the unit I got is faulty.
