Very awesome.
I got this mainly for the T-square, the rest was just icing on the cake. The quality if each piece is nice, strong and durable. I love how the t-square is in two separate pieces. I am able to put the "T" part onto a metal ruler which allows me to use a razor blade to cut along the ruler. All measurements seem to be accurate and everything is very easy to read.

I'll tell you the same...
Yep, these are really thin and cheap. You shouldn't expect anything else for the price. The protractor is tiny but usable. Now onto the main item - the T-square. I'll tell you the same as everyone else, it is near impossible to assemble. I lubed it with cutting oil and tried to tap the ruler part in by tapping it against a wood worktable. Not going. Tap it harder and finally some movement. Getting some hairline cracks where the ruler is pushing the groove it slides into beyond it's limits, but it does indeed go all the way without shattering. Well, the ruler slides in until it bottoms out, and still out a mm too far. Not too big a deal for me, I can work around that, but annoying. Knowing what I do now about how insanely snug this fit is, I would sand the part of the ruler that slides in down slightly. Better some scratches than breaking the thing. Interestingly, look at all the pictures on this listing. IN NOT A SINGLE ONE IS THE T-SQUARE ACTUALLY PUT ALL THE WAY TOGETHER. Not even the manufacturer could manage to assemble one for advertising. 3 stars just cause it's so inexpensive.

Cheap and flimsy but good for a couple of uses
Cheap flimsy plastic. Will work for a little bit but probably won't last long.

Nice Starter Tools!
Good tools for a beginner in drafting. I remember having these tools in middle school in shop class. They were nice and it was a good class. Now, every time I teach geometry and work a lot with straight edges, my mind goes back to that class and these tools. Great stuff for kids and adults alike.

T-square parts won't fit together, it's useless cheap plastic.
I bought it for the T-square, which came in two parts, but the ruler doesn't fit into the T. It's useless.

T-Square is garbage.
No matter what or how you fit the straight edge into the head, the measurements were either upside down or backward. The other tools are of good enough quality for the price point. Even the most casual beginner might want to get a nice aluminum 12-inch T-square and throw the one that comes with this set away.
