Surprised
Well worth the money and works good. Few little tweaks required but I would definitely buy this again. Make sure you buy a unit that has 4GB memory or larger.

Great Head Unit, but Tough Install
I bought this unit because I wanted full Android and an LTE connection.Pros: Great touchscreen, quick and responsive, google play store access to load software I wanted. Sound is very good. Steering wheel controls were easy to configure. I installed the Agama launcher which works much better than the one on the head unit. I am hoping LTE access will work properly and will update once I get a SIM. GPS access seems pretty good.Big plus if you need it, it has Wireless Android Auto. If you don't, it is a bit cumbersome to figure out how to turn it off.Cons:Wiring is a mess. It ships with multiple harnesses with functions split across harnesses. Example: RCA outputs are on two separate harnesses and you must add both to use it with an amp. The second harness also includes all the AV outputs which I didn't need. Xtrons, if you are listening, split the harnesses by function so the user doesn't end up with a huge jumble of wires that aren't being used. If you need an example, take a look at the Atoto F7. This is well arranged. It also terminates with a DIN plug that I had to cut off to install.Antennas for GPS and LTE are not labeled. The long skinny one is LTE, the square puck is GPS.It doesn't fit into a standard DIN frame. I used a Metra frame to fit into my Miata. Because it is a bit too big, the radio does not sit flush with the frame as my Atoto does. Because the tiny buttons are along the side, they are very difficult to use. If you don't have steering wheel controls available, I do not recommend this unit because the buttons are so difficult. I also had to trim down the frame to get the radio to fit inside.WIFI reception is terrible. In my garage, I get 4 bars on my phone. This unit would barely connect. I installed a range extender in my garage to get it up and running.Recommendation: IF you want a universal Android radio, this one works well once you have it installed. I would buy it again if this was my use case. But be forewarned that installation is trickier than other units.Updates after extended use:The launcher is terrible. It cannot be modified. Find a new launcher. Fortunately, there are many available and I haven't settled on one yet.The dialer is tough if you have a large contact list (mine is >300 people). There is no way to set up favorites and searching must be done with an on-screen keyboard. There is no voice search. The included music software will not scan directories to get all your music. I installed Poweramp. When I use streaming music or Poweramp, the audio stream plays along with the radio. The workaround is to switch to the radio and turn it off manually.Wireless Android Auto stopped working. I can no longer connect manually. Corded still works.Tech support does not exist. They have a forum, but you cannot join it. Sending an email for help was ignored.Update 2: After a screen problem, I contacted Xtrons through Amazon. They have agreed to refund my unit. I still think the unit is a solid 4. If they made the launcher more customizable, and fixed the phone dialing, it would be a 5.
