This two pack of metal shrinker and stretcher doing great job in my garage, it is very easy to use set, throat capacity has: 63mm/2.5”. Works with mild steel up to 18 gauge (1.2mm) and aluminum up to 16 gauge (1.5mm). Has drilled bottom for bench mounting, I used to work on the same in my previous job, so I know these machines very well and in my garage it will certainly be useful. As for me, the price is a bit excessive I saw cheaper but in terms of quality they are really well made and from what I noticed it will serve me for a very long time.

Metal stretcher and shrinker - perfect for our current home renovation on the pipe work. Great quality, very sturdy and work well.Easy to install on the work bench and simple to use - with a few errors of course (as always in our house). Just mind the grease on unpackaging.For £169.98 your getting a sturdy, well made metal stretcher and shrinker which are great value given current prices elsewhere.Verdict:Recommended.

Tried numerous times with the stretcher but could not get it to work. Faulty ? Make a loud cracking noise on pressing the lever ??Never even tried the shrinker. Packaged ready to return.

The tool does exactly what it is supposed to do.On the shrinker, the jaws are apart when you close it will grab the steel and put it together. The stretcher is the opposite.The tool will last years I’m sure. It was made from a sturdy and quality material.100% recommended!
