Needed a scale to weigh larger items & decided to give this one a try.After 6 months of use, it seems to be holding up well.Several things that I like areScale can be powered 4 AA batteries or the included AC adapterA large LCD screen that displays the weight in real-time.It has an extra-long cord that allows the screen to be mounted on a wall while the scale sets on the floor.My only complaint would be that the display looks & feels a little cheaply made. I may be being too picky but it just doesn't seem as nice as the rest of the unit.I still believe you will be happy with it but felt it was worth a mention.

I got the product with high expectation. However, when I opened the box, I realized that the product was made with a very careless, no any symbol at the buttons to show you which function it is; even no any drawing on the instruction to show where they locate. Although the manufacturer said that, the scale was already calibrated, but the weight figures on the scale jumped continuosly, even without any item. The scale was put on the marble countertop, so it can say that the scale was put on the very stable surface. The tolerant is up to more than 1 lbs. So I immediately packed it back and returned. Don't spend your time to buy this product.

Have used it for stones, sandbags and weights so far. Easy to use. I place a rubber mat on top, zero the scale out then weigh stones, weights or other objects with harder surfaces.Love it!

Worked for about a year, doesn't work in cold weather, lights flicker, unreliable after a period of time but it may work well as a stationary scale when not exposed to cold weather.
