Smooth 1080p60, Zero Hassle
The Guermok Capture Card is like giving my gaming setup and streaming gear a VIP backstage pass.Setup was so easy it felt almost suspicious—plug it in, connect HDMI, and boom, I’m capturing crisp video without a single headache. At 1080p 60FPS, gameplay looks smooth and sharp, no laggy mess or pixel soup. My PS5 and Switch footage finally looks the way it’s supposed to—like a real stream instead of a potato recording. The 4K passthrough is sweet too—while I’m capturing at 1080p for streaming, I still get gorgeous 4K gameplay on my monitor with zero delay. OBS recognized it instantly, and even when I tested it with my camera for recording, it looked clean and professional. The fact that it works across Mac, Windows, iPad, and even Quest is the cherry on top—it’s basically the Swiss Army knife of capture cards. The silver design looks sleek too, like it belongs in a high-end studio instead of my messy desk.In short: simple, smooth, and super reliable. The Guermok Capture Card makes streaming and recording feel pro without the pro-level price tag. If my setup had a hype man, this would be it.

Your Ultimate Streaming Companion: Capture Card Review
As a seasoned gamer and occasional streamer, I’m often bombarded with options when it comes to capture cards. After using the Capture Card for Streaming for several weeks, I can honestly say that it stands out in a crowded market.Easy to UseThe ease of use is one of the first qualities that impressed me. The card’s USB and HDMI compatibility allows for seamless connections with my gaming consoles and computer. The setup was completely straightforward—plug it in, connect it to my device, and I was ready to go in mere minutes.Remarkable Streaming QualityFrom a quality perspective, the 1080p at 60fps output has made a genuine difference in my streams. The video is both clear and vibrant. I have not faced any issues with lag, even during intense gaming sessions. My audience often comments on how much better the quality looks compared to my previous setup, and I couldn't agree more. The overall viewing experience is light-years ahead.Robust PerformanceThe performance reliability speaks volumes, especially for someone hosting live streams. I’ve used this capture card for both casual gaming and competitive sessions, and it has held up beautifully. Never have I faced a moment of dropped frames during a critical action scene, which is a constant worry for many streamers.Excellent Price PointMoreover, it's surprisingly affordable for the level of service it delivers. I've seen capture cards that promise the same quality, but they cost significantly more. The only minor drawback was the limited information provided in the instruction manual. For those who prefer detailed guidance, you might need to look online for tips on maximizing the device. To wrap up, if you're considering a capture card to enhance your streaming experience, I wholeheartedly endorse this product. Its combination of quality, performance, and ease of use ensures it's a fantastic investment.

functional and easy to use
functions as intended, budget friendly, small, portable, easy to set up, overall excellent quality, plug and play, at least on my laptop. 5 stars, would recommend as a starter medium to high quality capture card

Excellent little device, but there is noticeable latency.
TLDR:Recommended, but there is just enough delay that if you are using this as a webcam, you'll need to have the audio delayed to match (I used 130ms to get them to sync). This mini capture card works great, had no issues setting it up, worked out of the box. Connected it to a beginner's mirrorless (Canon EOS R100) and it is an excellent quality webcam...if you're using OBS. I am giving 4 stars because there's enough of an audio delay that I wouldn't recommend using it as a webcam in a program where you can't set an audio delay to match. I use a 130ms audio delay in OBS Studio to get the sound to match the video, and I think that is a big enough delay to be extremely offputting if not fixed. If you are using this as a capture card for only streaming/recording a game console, then the delay might not matter. If you're trying to use it as a passthrough, the delay probably matters. However, a full 4 stars for everything else! I do recommend this, with the above caveat.
