Using this to keep an abscess soft so that it can drain. Great quality. Smells earthy and nice. Easy to apply. Great ingredients. Will definitely keep this on hand! I own a LOT of dogs and run a kennel and do training. I'm very particular about the products I use and I really like this product a lot. I will definitely be recommending it to my clients.I posted before and after photos of the horrific abscess a 5 week old puppy suffered. The abscess came through her ear canal to the outside so it was absolutely imperative that it continued to drain until her infection completely cleared up.I've never seen an ear/sinus infection on a pup this young and never seen one so bad in any of my dogs. This pup was so sick we nearly lost her :-( but with good medical care she got well. We did, however, worry about the abscess remaining open and she scabbed up so fast. Rather than surgically open the wound we decided to use this product and look at the results after one week!! The skin is so clear and pink and healthy and the scar is so minimal!!!

Scratching constantly, my little Chihuahua/Schipperke, Shadow, a 9 year old rescue, has driven both of us to distraction with his continuous scratching from allergies that has been going on and off for at least 3 years and have become unbearable (for both of us!) in the last couple of months. The poor little guy has been forced into dog jammies, endured spritzing of essential oils, and had cool, wet paper towels held on his chest to help lower the inflammation. But ... would it be another product I just dumped money on and get my Shadow no relief??The answer is NO! Within the first use, his scratching had diminished and by the second use it was practically GONE! He isn't confined to ill-fitting dog clothes all day long, he isn't driving me bonkers with the constant sound of dog tags rattling and most important? He is comfortable for the first time in weeks!While the poor guy still wears the jammies for a short time after I apply Restore to be sure there are no oil stains on carpet or furniture, Restore quickly absorbs into the coat and skin, has a pleasant scent from the oils used in it's creation and really, truly did halt Shadow's itch -- and it isn't greasy at all! Last night he was able to sleep in the crate next to my side of the bed and did not wake me all night with his incessant scratching.SO? My review?? My dog has allergies and chews/licks on his legs when anxious, resulting in hot spots. After reading reviews I gave this product a whirl. The good: it works! Hot spots aren't an issue the following day and they heal quickly. A little bit goes a long way too. The bad: my dog goes nuts after I put it on him. He HAS to run outside and rub his entire body in the grass like a lunatic, so it must sting or bother him in some way.

this product does work . my dog has hot spot on her paw and it was very red and was infected..I used product for two days now and redness went away and infected is gone .. her skin is now pink and healed very well. this product is very good and healthy. my dog likes to lick her paw so I wasn't worried if she lick wound care product off bc it won't hurt her than some product said you have keep dog from licking that is impossible. I know there few bad review of product being hard after three months , this product has expired date on button on jar and probably went out of date that why it hardened.. this product is best and will not hurt your dog if your dog is like mine that like lick wound area.

It seemed to be okay for my chi-mix and her hot spots, but we had only had it for about 2 months and it started getting grainy- beads of the ingredients started coming up making me not want to use it on my dog in case it was mold or something. I threw it away because I wasn't sure if it was still "good". :/ Not great because it wasn't cheap.

Hair grew in quickly and skin healed nicely

This is an excellent salve and our dog loves its fragrance. I wish they included instructions how to prevent clamping when the salve is not used for a longer period of time, or when temperatures are lower.

We love this stuff SO much. We initially bought it a few months ago for a hot spot that got really bad on our German shepherd mix because we couldn't see it. When we shaved where she was itching we saw how bad it was and starting applying this to her twice a day. It must've felt good going in because she didn't fight us. It healed and reduced her itching so quickly. We recently rescued an English mastiff puppy and she had these rashes in her arm pits and on her neck. We started using Restore on them and they went away. When we spot red spots again we apply it and it helps her TREMENDOUSLY! I think we've narrowed it down to a grass allergy, so we'll be purchasing this stuff quite a bit. It's pricey but worth every single penny for our dogs' comfort. I'm heavily involved in the dog rescue circuit and recommend it to anyone I talk to. The best part, it's all natural, I hate putting chemicals on my babies.
