Great! Just one thing to make sure!
It worked really great and helped my cat get through her recovery phase after getting spayed. It actually lasted really well despite my cat's attempt to rip through the gown. You can definitely expect this to last 2 weeks for sure, I had to keep it on my cat for 2weeks + 5 days, since her sutures didn't go well and we needed to get her stapled. It looks cute, and doesn't seem to warm up my cat to the point she feels hot. It definitely did bother her cause she couldn't groom herself, but this issue is probably just a overall issue with any gown. The gown we got at the vet was a tie-up one, where we would have to tie bowties multiple times on her back, which she refused the cooperate. This product just allows us to fit the cat's limbs and just velcro the back. The neck elastic is VERY important. Make sure this is always on securely cause the last day of her gown, I noticed her neck elastic was a little loose and I just shrugged it off. The next morning, I wake up to her looking naked after nearly 3 week of her with this gown on. It was pretty funny seeing her "naked" but at the same time, I was worried about her surgery site.Make sure!!!! The neck part is on securely all the time and this product is golden.

Inconsistent sizing is a good thing?
I bought multiple colors in M and L. I wanted to have extra in case one one was soiled and needed a change, and I didn't know what size she would be. My cat fit the M at the time but it was quite snug. L was too big. When I changed her to the other M in a different color it fit her perfectly (not too snug). Overall it worked out.

So far, so good.
I brought my cat home from the vet with a cone of shame around her neck and she was absolutely miserable. She was pulling it off constantly and we couldn't' keep her from doing it no matter how we tried to tie it on her. Thankfully, we were able to get an early morning delivery for this suit and things improved immediately. The fabric is stretchy and soft so she has freedom of movement and no worries about her getting out of it or her messing with the incision. It was easy for just me to get her into it also. Great product so far.

Better than cone!
This was a wonderful alternative to a cone. My cat had a triple mastectomy and needed to be in a cone for more than 3 weeks. A nightmare for her! But the onesie made eating, drinking, and using the box nearly as easy as without it. Four stars because it was a bit short which put pressure on her throat. I ordered 2 so I could was one while having one on her. Get some cat bathing wipes so you can give the body covered by the indie a cleaning.

This was the only thing that worked
Our cat absolutely hated the plastic cone and the soft pillow cone so this was our last resort. The velcro worked great and was secure. It was easy to wash and definitely helped protect my cat's belly from their licking after their tummy surgery. They seemed weirded out but generally comfortable wearing it for long periods of time. They also were so stinking cute in it so that's always a plus.

Sizing IS AWFUL!
The product is good but the sizing is WAY off. My cat is 10lbs and is technically considered a medium cat. This size guide says she’s a large. I ordered a large and it fits her around her tummy perfect but is WAY too long and she gets her entire body inside of it when she throws a fit. So I decided to waste my money and reorder a medium since by all rights she IS a medium cat and the large size is too big.A couple of notes about the medium. For starters, it does not Velcro around her easy AT ALL and is so tight it cuts off her circulation. To be fair, according to this brands size guide a medium wouldn’t fit her (even though the large doesn’t either). You know who the medium does fit? My kitten. My tiny little runt kitten who is too small for her age. She can sit on the palm of my hand. And the medium fits her. I’m horrified to know what the small is.On top of the size being horribly wrong, the fabric is extremely different. The medium came in an itchy canvas type material with little to no stretch, and the large came in a very soft and very stretchy material. If the medium had come in the same stretchy fabric it may have fit a little better.Another note is the adjustable neck line. Awful. The point of the stopper on it is to create friction so the size you set it at STAYS at that size. There is literally nothing stopping the stopper from moving. So once you make the neck snug, the cat walks a few feet and it immediately comes undone. Since the sizes don’t fit correctly, the neck comes all the way down to her shoulders allowing her to slip out of it.Overall it’s keeping her away from her incision so yeah it works, just be prepared to constantly “rescue” your cat from the onesie because theyll get eaten right up in it or prepare to fight to get it back on repeatedly.

Works great
My cat is 4lbs and about 6 months old. I ordered her a small and I'm glad I did. It's snug enough that it isn't gonna fall off but loose enough that she can breathe. She was having a hard time with the cone she was constantly fighting and acting crazy trying to get the cone off (she is semi feral so she was very extra about it). With this suit she doesn't run around or try fight it she just lays around. She is supposed to rest and this is actually helping a lot. She has only been wearing it for a couple hrs but this is the calmest she has been since she came home from getting spayed. The Velcro is secure, she can still use the litter box and everything but it keeps her surgery site covered. It also has a drawstring neck which is helpful for adjusting. Seems surprisingly well made for the price. In a couple days I'll wash it and if it doesn't hold up, I'll update my review but I don't think washing it will be a problem. She looks so cute, even with her angry face! I highly recommend for anyone with a cat getting abdominal surgery!

For sure better than a cone!
This is a good alternative to a cone. My cat was not pleased to be wearing it but still much better than a cone. I have read where people say their cat escaped this easily as mine did but then put it in the washer and dryer and it shrunk and fit well. Nice breathable fabric and easy to put on. My cat is 10 LBS and needed a large so I am not sure this will work for large cats but I am glad I found it. Saved me and my little man the drama of wearing a cone.
