can you wear these with normal shoes or are they too thick

I have worn these with sneakers and boots. If you use athletic socks with your shoes they will be fine. If you only wear dress socks no.

I wear these to sleep, do not want tight tops, which are best fpr men-size feet?

I also wear these to bed. They're super warm, squishy soft, comfy, cozy and not confining at all. They feel like I'm walking on pillows! My Mr. wears just one pair of these daily while working outside, on the farm! Until I found these for him, he was wearing: 1st layer: a regular pair of work socks. 2nd layer: a pair of woolish work socks. 3rd layer: a pair of wool work socks. Personally, I'd wear 2 pairs of regular socks and my toes & feet were still cold in the house. Now, I just wear a single pair of these socks and no complaints here! We LOVE these socks!!! To avoid losing my socks to my Mr., my socks are stripped and his aren't ;)

If they are not heated socks, why do you say that they are in the description?

I just think you read it wrong ... they are heat trapping insulated socks ... not heated socks. I see they put the heated in the description twice so it can be confusing, however no batteries or heaters are included! LOL!! I would share with you that they are very thick socks and they are pretty warm. I switch these out with my Darn Tough and Smartwool socks and they do well as long as they aren't stuffed into boots or shoes that are too tight. They won't work then, just like most socks won't. When I get really cold feet, I put these on over my other socks.

Warm & soft

I have hardwood floors..i hate walking on them. So I buy several “house” socks . They gotta b warm soft &thick .. I bought many & they were to thin..I’ve lucked up a found some that were warm &soft but I wore holes in them. I have adhd so I walk/ move a lot at home . These socks r wonderful . Soft warm and THICK.. I will definitely buy more once I wear these out . . I’m a size 6 snd and a half woman’s shoe or 4 and a half 5 in kids sneakers and I got these in a small.. I love them

Winter socks that work in cold weather conditions

Oh wow, these are some wonderful socks to keep your feet warm in extremely cold conditions. I have used them in both Norway and Antarctica during winter months. Highly recommend.

Great socks - Size 11-12 is Medium

I bought these to help keep my feet warm on walks and otherwise outdoors. I would have given it 5 stars but deducted one for confusing sizing. I wear an 11-12W shoe and this calls for a medium. I haven't worn a medium anything since maybe 3rd grade. The size guide and Amazon called for an M and glad I followed it. Socks are thick, but not too thick to cause problems fitting in shoes. I really like these socks as they are really warm and have a good fleece feel to them inside. They are so comfortable I also wear them around the house as slippers. Highly recommend and be sure to follow their odd sizing guide.

Works for keeping feet warm at night.

I sleep hot but have cold feet. I used a heating pad on my feet for years but the last few years my thermostat climbed and struggled to stay cool at night, the heating pad heated the mattress. Switched to these socks and they are plenty warm and I can stay cool. Win!
