Exactly What I Needed!
The plastic housing around the recliner release handle broke on my sofa. I looked online and found a video showing how easy it was to replace the whole cable and plastic assembly, and that video had a link to this product.I ordered two of them - one for now, one for just in case I need it later - and it was moderately easy to put in.CAUTION - TAKE A PICTURE of the cable routing BEFORE you remove the old cable! Sometimes the smallest detail, such as routing it over or under this little projection here, can make all the difference in whether it works or not. It took me about 40 minutes to figure this out. So don't make the same mistake, get some good pix first, and refer to them as you install the new one.My couch recliner works perfectly again. I'm a happy camper.

Fits Perfectly!
This was an easy install! Once I found which part I needed and received the part it was only about 8 minutes to remove the old and install the new!That was to get the tools, do the work and put everything away. Thank You!

watched the video. everything worked great. this 72 yr swf fixed this with my daughter, but i did most of the work. just be ware, the back has tiny spaces to work with on the recliner. love this...
