Want to use this on a Hanks Leather belt, to keep it looking nice. Will it make the leather slipper or squeeky?

It wont make it "nice." It will change the texture of your belt and likely ruin. Look for a leather conditioner or mink oil for what you want. This stuff almost ruined a pair dress boots.

Is this a good substitute for Brooks Proofide bike saddle protector?

This product is a nice leather conditioner. I'm an upland bird hunter and use this on my boots, and gloves. I had to Google Brooks product and with that I'm not sure if this is a viable substitute if using on a saddle. Cheap enough to give it a go and sure you can find other uses for it if not used on your saddle.

Can this be used for a non leather hole in sole?

Well you can use it on anyting but if you plan on repairing that hole I don't believe I'd put any grease on it or anything. And it's not really bear grease or Grizzly Grease. But it is good for leather but I use it in my black powder rifle and Pistol. I hope this helps
