These are nice and thick for my home gym. They lock together for a secure fit. Seem durable enough.

I had to buy two additional sets in order to fulfil my floor for my dog training..They’re very wide very thick and very comfortable to walk on..

I am 71 years old and still lifting in my basement on a regular basis to keep my strength up and stay firm (or as firm as possible given my age)!Since my basement floor is cement and before installing these pads, I needed to be super careful not to drop a weight which could damage or crack the cement and forget about any floor exercises for my core on that cold hard surface!Installing them was easy and they have really improved my mini home workout area when performing any weight lifting or floor core exercise. I've used a variety of types of this kind of flooring for various exercise purposes over the years, and this is the best midrange option I've found. The tiles are considerably thicker than the less expensive, more commonly found ones you see at the box stores. (Those mats often seem to be gray versions of the colored puzzle mats used in schools.)The surface of these mats is relatively stiff yet provides good cushioning for everything from stretching to burpees. I've also placed my rowing machine on the pads, and it definitely compresses significantly but hasn't torn under the machine’s feet. (Keep in mind that I’m 5’8” and 155lbs, so someone heavier and stronger might see more damage.) It is still a foam surface, however (our cat enjoys using it for scratching--and it shows) so don’t expect infinite durability. (See the photos for details.)My only real complaint is that the tiles could fit together a bit more snugly. One tile at the edge of my exercise space has a tendency to pull apart a bit after sessions that include burpees or downward-dog stretches, so I plan on connecting that spot with some gaffer’s tape as a safety measure.For heavier equipment or a weight-lifting surface, I’d strongly recommend a denser mat with a more durable surface. I currently have mats under my weight bench that were probably twice the price of these but that have a much harder rubber surface. It’s not nearly as comfortable to lie down on, but I don’t worry about dropping weights on it. I wouldn’t trust these mats to hold up to the same level of abuse, but then again, they aren't designed for it.

We have two older dogs and I have put this by the beds to make it safer when they jump down. This set is thick, 3/4 inch and very easy to assemble as well as easy to clean. Works great as well when I exercise. We have ceramic tiles throughout the house so this really makes a difference to soften the furr babies' landing. We've had some different ones before by a different manufacturer but they were thinner and the construction was not as durable. These are very good quality and I do not expect them to be as affected by the dogs' nails. I am posting a picture of the pattern as it really makes a difference. With taxes it came to 55.58 which held me back for a while but you get what you pay for! Happy with my purchase as this set is quality. In 2 weeks I have ordered 3- 24 square feet sets. Our big 9 years old dog who is 50lbs sprained his legs while jumping so I am securing everything...in front of sofa, by the bed...

Easy to set up, pretty good size. Squishy soft feel

I'm using these as mats to the side of a weightlifting platform, and as all purpose work mats to lay on or kneel on when doing various projects. I keep weights on them, deadlift on them in particular, they're far too squishy to stand on while lifting but they work well to deaden noise and protect my weights.They fit together well and maintain their shape remarkably well considering how light weight they are.Big plus, they don't stink.I wouldn't use them as a gym floor or exercise floor you intend to stand on, they have too much give and are too soft.But if you want a soft floor material for whatever reason these hold up well.
