Handy tool, not all that strong
Makita is known more for their ergonomics than their brute strength. This is preferable in most circumstances, but for this tool, the lack of power really becomes noticeable. Plan to buy a set of hex shank drill bits to compliment this tool, because it often struggles to drive long screws without predrilling first

Dependability
I am a Emergency Vehicle Technician which uses this angle drill everyday. When you need to not break off a screw or bolt I will use this. It is strong but not too strong to not ream off a bolt or screw. It can get in tight spots and is very dependable. Buying a second one to have twoon hand to make my job quicker. Great product!Edit as of 9/1/23, I have three now!

Great Impact for hard to reach areas.
Little background of my work, I'm an installer for business furniture and storage facility. Many times with rotary files and cabinetry they requires 90's which we just have the drill attachment. That's a 2 handed operation which is why I purchased this drill. It has plenty of power but no settings. the little glow in dark rubber attachment is nice to have but usually falls off. The button for forward and reverse is a little hard to hit for how inset it is but not to bad. Overall definite recommend if you're always in tight places needing only 1 hand tool.

Sort of OK
Had a specific use for this tool which worked well for my particular application but not too happy with the torque it provides. Way underpowered compared to the standard Makita impact I use for lightweight work. Had a little silicone end that fell off right away. Also, the bit holder is rough and does not slide on a off easily. Expected more from Makita and hope they put some effort on designing the next generation.
