Stunning and pigmented as always!
Absolutely love this color! I knew I wanted to do orange for fall colors, and this color is so perfect! Manic Panic will always be the first dye I grab, and of course, this color did not disappoint. I also grabbed their yellow one “Electric Banana” for the end of my hair. My hair was platinum/white towards the ends of my hair, but I had some varying shades of pink at my roots from my last hair. I didn’t use bleach or anything and just threw the color on top and there’s not a hint of any of the pink that was underneath. It went right on top, and completely blended together! My only little thing I want to note is that after doing my orange, I only had a very small amount left - less than 1/4 of product. I already knew that this was going to be enough for me, but if you have a lot of hair, I might get two just to make sure you can really coat and get all of your hair :)

I have pretty damaged hair from over-processing back in October (oops). I decided to get two Manic Panic colors to dual-dye my hair. I knew the regrowth wouldn't take, so when I dyed it I was not shocked to find only the last 3 inches of my hair held color; The regrowth was mildly tinted. I was shocked, though, to see just how vibrant the pieces that were still damaged by bleach took since I had dyed the bleached hair before using this.As far as using this particular color on unbleached hair, don't bother. Go for a darker shade if you want to use Manic Panic rather than a lifting product. I highly recommend all their deep shades. I used Rock N Roll red, and it is lovely on my regrowth and damaged hair, though the damaged hair is far brighter. I plan to use Plump Passion for a while so my hair can grow without the heavy damage of other dyes and to cover my roots.

Uneven color at first
I have naturally red hair that is very thick. I used 1.5 jars of product to dye my hair, after following all of the instructions provided. I didn't expect it to dye my hair very much, but I did hope that it would brighten my hair a bit. It did- but only in certain spots. The directions say to stop the color one inch from you roots. I did that, and now my roots have zero color. It was a very stark difference from the bottom of my hair, which colored really well in spots. However, I have different textures in my hair, and the super coarse hair didn't dye as well either, so my hair ended up looking "blotchy".However, I put the remaining 1/2 of my jar in my conditioner, and I have used it twice since originally dying my hair, and the color is fading on the bottom and has gained some color on top due to the conditioner. It looks a lot better now, and I would probably just add a bit to my conditioner from now on to keep a bit of a brighter red.

Psychedelic sunset
I used psychedelic sunset over dark brown hair that had a little red in it to begin with. It looks pretty in the light/outside. It did not cover my grays -- but I likely need another tub because I have longer hair. It was close to the color I was trying to achieve - a copper red.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ORANGE
So punk rock! Split dye paramore vibes ! I never meant to brag , but I got it how I want it now. Didn't stain my hair or skin, washed out to blonde after 7 weeks after promised 4-6 ( I only shampoo 2x a week, so it may last less if you shampoo more)

Love it.
My hair was colored a darker red to auburn blond to begin with. I put 2 jars of psychedelic sunset root to end and let it sit about 40 minutes after I finished applying. Hair is collar bone length and thick and 2 jars was just enough. Color on the auburn blond came out just like the swatch. Followed directions, applied heat with a blow dryer for just a couple minutes right before a cold rinse. I used a glove on my hand while rinsing and bent over the tub so I didn't stain the shower. I tried uploading pics but this isn't letting me

The product itself was okay. I’m naturally a brunette, and had my hair dyed red about 3 months ago. I had been maintaining it with Tressa Watercolor shampoo (color depositing), but it was to harsh in my scalp and hair. I added Quantum colors riveting reds conditioner to my routine, and had wonderul results - it smells great too!Eventually tried out Overtone deep treatments (rose gold & extreme), and tried a sample size of their daily conditioner (extreme pink). The deep treatments work far better than the daily conditioner, but I was shocked at how much dimension the pink brought to my hair. The scent is great too, but what sets it apart is the way it brings your hair back to life, and the dynamic colors.Manic Panic appealed to me for the same reasons overtone did: vegan, cruelty free, reviews, etc. Also thought it would be a nice in between for deep treatments. However, it seems like these colors only work if your hair is bleached. This color did brighten my hair, but very subtly and didn’t leave it feeling as healthy as when I use the deep treatments.Considering it’s only 4oz, I don’t think it’s worth the price. Overtones sample size is 2oz, and it yields far better color results on natural, dyed, and bleached hair types. That aside I was mostly just disappointed my product was delivered late, had clearly been opened, and the lid was broken in transit.
