This is my go to liquid eyeliner

I have only used this eyeliner once, but I think it applies very nicely. It glides across my eyes when I am trying to do a winged liner. It has a matte finish so it is not shiny. Would order again!

I wouldn't say this is water proof, but it's good enough. The applicator could definitely be better. If you like doing a wing, you'll have to get used to it and practice that flick at the end for a sharp point, or you could clean it up with a q-tip or makeup wipe. My eyes water a lot and it comes off at both the inner and outer corners so that sucks. I find myself touching these corners up at least once or twice through out the day, but I also apply it at 430 am and don't have to do my first touch up until around 1130am-1200pm so I guess it does last a while, just not all day. By the time I get home around 500pm the natural oil on my eyelids makes it all smudgey and it starts getting into my eyes and burning, even with eye primer. But the good thing is I just use it to make my lash line look darker/fuller between fills of my extensions so it does the trick when I need it.

I used to use liquid eyeliner forever ago, then changed my look for some time and switched to pen liquid eyeliners simply for the ease of use and the super occasional eyeliner ... fast forward to today, I've been wanting to go back to the cat eye look with sharper lines and edges as I got tired from crayons drying out, dull lines, not opaque enough, etc... boy did I forget the power of the liquid eyeliner and its general existence. I got this one due to the good reviews, for the super black opaque and matte look that falls within my budget. It isn't waterproof and it smudges/wipes away if you physically wipe it with your finger (I don't really touch my face or eyes, so not an issue) but it stays put all day until I take it off, so in reality it doesn't smudge on its own at all. Personally, I understand the need for waterproof makeup but I have sensitive skin and the products needed to remove such makeup are too harsh so I prefer stuff that I can take off easily with regular old water and some cleanser. Also because of sensitive skin, this product does sting a tiny bit when applied at first closer to the edge of my eye, but it's only for a few seconds and I don't seem to have adverse effects overall.I had to practice a few times and still don't get the lines quite perfectly but for the price and what I get, it's such a step up from the products I have been using so far.

It is matte and doesn't spread around my eyes, although my moisturizer is oily. It stays on all day until I remove it. By far, this is the best waterproof eyeliner I have ever had.
