This is sooo good!
Ok so I’m new to protein powder but I have had others and they were gritty. This was not gritty at all , it was smooth and the taste was amazing! I had marshmallow cereal milk. It is a tad bit sweet but the flavor is marshmallow cereal milk. I will be trying more flavors! This would make a great homemade cream.

Tastes just like Chips Ahoy!
If you’re tired of protein powders that taste artificial, leave a weird aftertaste, or feel like you’re drinking chalk, GHOST Whey Protein in the Chips Ahoy flavor is a game-changer. From the first scoop, it delivers a smooth, dessert-like experience that genuinely tastes like chocolate chip cookies. The flavor is rich and nostalgic—imagine a fresh Chips Ahoy cookie dunked in milk, but in protein shake form. It’s not overly sweet or fake-tasting, which is rare for a flavor this bold. Even better, it goes down clean. There’s no unpleasant aftertaste lingering in your mouth like with so many other protein powders, and the texture is impressively smooth and non-chalky, whether mixed with water or milk. What makes it even more enjoyable is the consistency. It blends easily, so you're not left with clumps or gritty residue. Plus, getting 25g of protein per serving from a blend of isolate, concentrate, and hydrolyzed whey makes it a solid post-workout or daily protein option without sacrificing taste. If you're looking for a protein powder that feels more like a treat than a chore, GHOST’s Chips Ahoy Whey is worth every scoop.

Some Amazing Flavors, But Flavors are Hit or Miss
Overall, Ghost proteins mix well in both milk and water, they have a relatively good calorie/protein ratio, a great rewards program, and great marketing. Their flavors are also relatively unique. I'll review them individually as I've tried several. Just a note that all Ghost proteins are -sweet- to varying degrees. That said, some are awesome.Chips Ahoy - 5/5. LOVE IT. This is going to be hit or miss for people, because it's got chunks of chips ahoy cookies in and big chocolate chips in it. Just enough, mostly at the bottom of the shaker, to make you feel like you had a treat and didn't have to force yourself to drink a protein shake. It's a cereal-milk kind of flavored vanilla backdrop that honestly does taste like milk after you've been dunking cookies in milk. I love this and could live off this.Marshmallow Cereal Milk - 4/5. Definitely feels like I'm cheating by drinking this. It's full of marshmallow - very Lucky Charms-inspired. It's base is a sweet vanilla cereal milk and the marshmallows satisfy my sweet tooth. I'm a guy who could eat half a box of Lucky Charms in a sitting. I'm probably better off drinking this instead.Cereal Milk - 4/5. This one was good, if a little boring after going through Chips Ahoy and Marshmallow Cereal Milk. It's basically another variant of the vanilla you've been drinking for years (or decades).Oreo - 2/5. I wanted to love this. I genuinely enjoy Cookies n Cream flavored protein shakes, but this one had a strange fruity/sweet scent that was offputting for me. Rather than oreo filling and chocolate, I was getting floral, fruity, sweet undertones in every sip.Cinnabon - 1/5. SWEET. I could barely drink this. There are other brands of protein powder that also do cinnamon and do it better. I tried diluting this to make it more palatable, and eventually had to mix it with another less sweet protein powder to mask the sweetness. This one's not for me.

Excellent flavor
This review is for the Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookie Flavored Isolate. Just putting that since there are multiple flavors/products on the page.I will admit, I avoided Ghost products for a while. They have always had a few ingredients that I adamantly avoided, but after a while, you get a craving for new flavors. I also avoided it just because it was so overhyped. I know it's lame to dislike a product just because it's popular, so I decided to give them a fair shot. I do feel that it's not quite as amazing as I have heard, but that's not to say it's a bad product at all!The flavor is pretty interesting. It pretty much tastes like you let a single Chips Ahoy cookie completely dissolve in milk. The cookie flavor isn't very strong to me; it almost tastes more like a very thick, milky kind of cookie. It's hard to explain, but it is pretty good! It might be better with double scoops and less milk, or maybe in baked goods. The best part was the real chunks of Chips Ahoy cookies at the bottom. It does have actual chunks of the cookie in there, but it all sinks to the bottom, obviously, so it's a nice treat at the end!As far as ingredients, the sweeteners are sugar, dextrose, high fructose corn syrup, and sucralose. I don't feel like it's enough sugar to spike blood sugar too high, but if that stuff is a concern for you, definitely ask your doctor! It also contains partially hydrogenated cottonseed oil, so there is a small amount of trans fat. It also contains caramel color, which can contain 4-MEI. I have been on a very strict diet for a while, and I quickly realized that it's just miserable, so I am taking risks and enjoying these types of things. I believe all of this stuff is fine in moderation, but that is a personal choice, of course! As far as macros go, it's pretty standard stuff—nothing too amazing or out of the ordinary—but it does have 2g of added sugars per scoop, so again, make sure you are aware of that if blood sugar monitoring is a concern. It has 25g of protein per 39-gram scoop, 3g total fat, and 7g carbs.Overall, I think it's a pretty good protein powder! I won't be using it every day as my primary protein powder because of the ingredients, and I do wish it had a bit more of a Chips Ahoy cookie flavor since it's a bit too subtle, in my opinion, until you get those full cookie chunks. I still think it's definitely worth a try!
