Great dock - easy to use and nice features
I'm coming from a Dell Lightning dock and the j5create is much better. I'll compare this to the Dell WD15 that I used to have.Pro:The j5create has a solid USB-C connector, while the Dell has a flimsy connector that tends to fall off my laptop easily.The j5create is longer but not as wide. The design is solid and good-looking. It is easier for me to find under my laptop stand.- j5create's USB-C connector is much longer than the Dell and can easily be connected to the left, right, or the back of the laptop- j5create is made in Taiwan, definitely a plus over the Dell (which is made in China)Cons:- No power button to turn on the laptop (only matters if you're using a Dell). My Dell dock has a power button to turn on a Dell PC, but it won't work for other brands

Tiene sus defectos.
La primera estación que recibí tuve que devolverla porque se dañó al cuarto dia de uso. Luego me la reemplazaron y hasta ahora funciona bien.

Buy new, fortes about used electronics.
It’s just stopped working, had problems since I’ve received it, it would work sometimes.

Love it, however there seems to be a flaw that needs to be addressed.
I bought this hub for docking my laptop at home, but also for travel. It was a bit long for my laptop bag and after about a year and at least two trips, the center hdmi port stopped working. I replaced it and made an effort to protect it better, but in spite of my efforts, the same thing happened. I replaced it again and bought a separate hub - smaller and not as versatile for travel. I've had the new one for probably 18 months and have NEVER traveled with it, using it only at my desk. It (the middle hdmi port) became unusable again about 2 months ago. At first, I tried to use other connections - hdmi to USB, hdmi to 16 pin and was only frustrated further. My laptop sits over the top of it, as pictured on the packaging, and it's my opinion that the laptop heat causes an issue with the center hdmi port getting too hot. I have purchased yet another because it is the best option for the price in my opinion - but made sure I also purchased the warranty through Amazon. Needless to say, my laptop is not sitting on top of it anymore!
