I love using sour creme in various soups so this is super handy to have on hand! It's very good quality, so far no clumping and good flavor.

If I had been aware of the delivery change from UPS Amazon door delivery to USPS local office or mailbox notice only delivery, I would not have ordered this brand since it requires a separate trip to the USPS post office, {I have ordered this product numerous times in the past, It is still an excellent sour cream powder product, however I shall choose another brand that delivers to my door.}

I have mixed this up 2 times. The first time I ate it right away on a baked potato, it was very thin so I added more powder. It was a bit chalky in texture. Then I realized I hadn't read all the directions. It says to refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours. Whoops.Second time I mixed it like the first time with the extra powder. Refrigerated it overnight in a Rubbermaid with a tight lid. Again used it on a baked potato, but this time it was thick like cream cheese. Tasted great and no chalk texture. Next time I will use the proper ratio 2 powder to 1 water and refrigerate it. It thickens a lot while sitting. It pays to follow directions.I live in an rv and have a dorm size refrigerator, not much room for a regular tub of sour cream. Also I tend to use about half of the regular tub before it starts spoiling. So even though this costs more per ounce, I can mix it in small amounts I can use before it spoils, thereby, actually saving money. If you throw half away your price per used once is actually 2 times the cost than if you used it all. Example $4 for 8 oz tub using only half is really $4 for 4 ounces.

This sour cream powder is absolutely delicious! Tastes fresh and creamy. Very convenient to have this on hand to use in meals and snacks. No waste is important considering how much groceries cost. 100% recommend.

Many times I have not made something because I did not have sour cream. Something that is shelf stable like this presents the ability to always have sour cream available. But the taste leaves a lot to be desired. If it's cooked in something, it works fine, but as a topping, you're better off without it.

I love this. My family waist so much sour cream. It ruins so we throw it out. This is perfect for anytime.

Needed this for two recipes, one for a taco topper and one in baking. For the baking it worked okay but the flavor was so gross I could not use as a topper. The color was odd, the smell not right, but it was the taste that said never again. So in a pinch I will use it up in baking only.
