I have a 45 pound dog with long legs, is Large big enough?

Dear Customer, the measurement for the size Large is 36x25x25 inches and it holds up to 70 lbs. The measurement for the XL size is 42x31x31 inches and it holds up to 90 lbs. You can choose the size you need. Thanks!

The zipper broke after a month. Is it possible to get a replacement shell?

I would like to know, if I can dismantle the entire internal structure, so that it fits inside a suitcase..that would be the large?

I have never attempted to dismantle it. If you did you would have to unscrew brackets holding the tubing frame. It collapses to about 18.5 x 30 x 3 inches when collapsed. Perhaps that would work for your suitcase.

Can this safely be checked as airline baggage?

I don’t see why it could not. Biggest issue would be how it is handled.
