Hello, The Dreo Solaris Slim H3 provides a heat output of 5118 BTU per Hour per Foot per Fahrenheit.

What does it cost to run on Eco setting?

Under ECO Mode the heater will automatically select it's optimal heating power, depending on the difference between the set temperature(5-35℃) and ambient temperature. -When the ambient temperature reachjes the set temperature, the heater will turn off automatically in 15s; -When the ambient temperature drops below the set temperature, the heater will operate on medium on high （H2 1100w or H3 1800W）, depending on the difference between the two temperatures. So the cost to run on ECO setting depend on heating level, and the heating level is depend on the temperature(5-35℃) you set and ambient temperature in your room. You can refer to my example and combine your conditions for specific cost. For example, when you operate on H2(1100w) level and it lasts 0.5 hour, then the cost is 1.1kw x 0.5h x Local electricity rate( cost per Kwh).

If the heater is working and plugged into a smart plug will I be able to turn it OFF and ON just from the smart plug without having to press ON button

No. When power is removed from the heater & then re-applied, the heater goes in to standby mode. You then need to press the ON button on the heater or remote to start the heater.
