Muhammad His Character and Beauty : Wasa'il Al-wusul Ila Shama'il al-rasul Paperback – July 2, 2015

A life changing experience through the learning of details of the life and character of Muhammad the Last Messenger. This book is highly recommended, it's an easy read but very enlightening.

This book is amazing. It is by far one of the greatest books I've read concerning The Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ. It would have been nice to have seen a section on his death [ﷺ] and on seeing him [ﷺ] in your dreams (as is done in Imām Al-Tirmidhī's work). The love of The Prophet ﷺ emanates from this book. Shaykh Yūsuf al-Nabhānī's love for The Messenger ﷺ can be seen from a mile away.The translation is impeccable. Classical Arabic poetry is given a sweet English flow. Abdul Aziz Suraqah needs to be given an award for the amount of quality translations he's been putting it. The book flows very well in English.The overall layout, font, footnote visuals are very neat and clean. I would like to see a bit more distinction in passages that are long quotes, or clear indication (bold, italics) when quoting Qurʾān or Ḥadīth. These are very minor complaints, and have no effect on the fact that I recommend this book 100%.

This was a superb book which was both well written and insightful.

The more you read the more you will fall in love with him. I have made it a habit to read a few passages weekly.

This is a translation of a work by Shaykh Yusuf Nabahani in which he slightly re-organizes Imam Tirmidhi's Shama'il and adds a commentary. Given that the work was authored in the early 20th century, Shaykh Nabahani is able to enrich his commentary by drawing on earlier masters of both hadith and seerah. This is evident in the footnotes added by the translator who does a good job of making the text easy to read. The book's major weakness though is its need for stronger copy-editing. There are numerous typos throughout the text and the organization of some of the material could have been clearer. Regardless, considering the subject matter, this is a good book to have.

A beautiful book, perfectly describing the noble characteristics of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW.
