Night and day difference!!🙂👍
If you’re coming from mechanical disc brakes these will be a huge improvement. Installation was pretty straightforward. Braking on my 29” e-bike went from barely stopping to one finger braking.I haven’t had any leaks or issues. The red anodized paint look is a great accent. The kit comes with everything needed for Bafang mid-drive, even two short 3 pin brake lever / motor shut off adapter wires. Using a good pair of cable cutters I was able shorten hose to proper length. They are pretty compact in size, making installation in tight areas easy. I bought a bleed kit, but never used it. Brakes felt highly responsive the moment I pulled the lever. The hardest part of the installation was tapping in the hose compression fitting. They make a tool for this, but a few taps with a small hammer worked fine. The build quality is great. But my set did come with an insignificant scratch on one caliper. You only see it if you’re looking for it.I wish I’d known how well four piston 180 mm hydraulic brakes stopped before wasting money on ceramic brake pads for my old mechanical 160 mm brakes. If you’re undecided on a new set of brakes, I highly recommend you give these ZOOM HB-876E four piston hydraulic brakes a try.UPDATE:One month later and ZOOM brakes are still performing perfectly. They work great on my 70 pound e-bike and 230 pound rider. I offe hear complaints from Shimano brake users that Chinese brake products are garbage. That’s not been my experience at all. These ZOOM brakes are one of the best investments I could have made. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent upgrade for an ebike
Own a Cyrusher XF 800 Ebike with 4500 miles on it. The existing brakes started to get air in them frequently and I had to bleed system more than I would like to. Had more than a few brake pad changes and they performed just ok after install. The original brakes were made by Zoom and are single piston calipers. I decided to upgrade to dual piston calipers for better brake performance. These are also made by Zoom and purchased two pin in color Red. Must admit they look sharp on the bike.Install was fairly easy. Just remember to add the little hose barbs with conical Brass ends inside the hose. As others before me have stated use a screw in motion to seat the hose barb all the way down inside tube.I wish they would give three of the brass hose collars and not two as inevitably one gets ruined or lost in the process. To be clear if you cut the hose for a custom fit you need to use tubing cutters and not scissors or Dykes. A tubing cutter will leave a nice clean cut so the collar will fit over easy.In my case no bleeding was necessary and there is little brake lever travel before brakes are on solid. On this particular bike they chose to mess up the orientation of the left right lever . It should be right lever equals right rear so that's what I changed it to.Pistons appear to be small in comparison with the other big name brake companies like Shimano and Magura but at this price point you do get what you pay for.its too cold in the Northeast now ( Feb 2024) to test much but a brief run revealed better stopping power even before brake in of pads. I will upgrade review as i get miles on the bike.Right now I think its worth buying and upgrading your brakes using this kit.Update -Cool Meng sent me some Olive rings and hose barbs.

Great stopping power
These work great. Used them on a Super73 Z1 rebuild. Easy to put on. You get a few different risers to get the right fit. Brakes were well primed I didn’t have to do do any bleeding or adjustment. No issues stopping even from 25-30mph. Rotors are larger then stock.

Nice kit for the money; instructions could have been better
I had probably more of a challenge than most others here as I was converting a scooter from 140mm mechanical disk brakes to 180mm hydraulic brakes, but I was able to get it figured out.If it's your first time working with installing hydraulic bike/scooter brakes, I'd recommend having a bleed kit on hand as it is quite easy to accidentally lose some fluidThe illustration is helpful at least, but make sure you get the compression nut tightened properly so that it squishes the olive enough to form a seal.

One set was inscrutably broken, no spare individual parts available
When I installed these the front brake worked perfectly right out of the gate, and I was hopeful. The back brake just never worked right no matter what I did though. I did a lot of troubleshooting, and even replaced the line and the caliper, because some troubleshooting led me to believe the lever was fine. I could block the outlet of the lever with the included cap, and it was rock hard. So I figured it must not be the problem. As soon as I actually connected it to anything though, it would stop maintaining pressure when squeezed. They build pressure, but then slowly release it. It's like the piston in the lever is leaking, but somehow only when it's connected to the line because it doesn't happen if I just cap the outlet. It makes no sense.Given how baffling and terrible one of these brakes has been I decided I no longer trust even the one that seems to work, and I'm buying a set of Tektro brakes and I guess throwing these away because I already got a partial discount on them and don't want to deal with it any more.I also found that you apparently can't buy replacement parts for these. So they're gonna be a problem long-term even if I manage to get the rear one working.
