Every Pet Parent Should have a copy of this Book
I don't know who is reviewing & approving these reviews but I reviewed this book & received an e-mail saying it was live. Here is how my 5 star review began (I was only able to see part of it in the e-mail)"Every Pet Parent should have a copy of this bookExcellent source of information on veterinary drugs that are routinely used. Offers helpful information on side effects, dosages, any potential drug interactions and contraindications specific to dogs and cats, which is very different from human"When I went to look at the full review online before filing this e-mail it said, "Sorry we couldn't find that page". I spent a considerable amount of time writing this review & would appreciate it if someone could find it and post it correctly on your website for this book & then re-notify me that this review is live. Unfortunately you gave me no other way to send you a message since the e-mail I received is a no-reply.Thank you for your assistance. Lorraine

A comprehensive reference.
I have the 2nd edition plumb. To see it evolve into this has been spectacular. A must for the Veterinary professional who likes a text vs digital. Over and above with even more dosing information! A must have for prescribers or technicians who inform clients on the use and safety of such medications.

Wonderful Resource for Humans in Vet Med
The media could not be loaded. I love Plumb's! I'm a CVT and I use it all the time at a GP and an ER. So when my geriatric FLUTD cat had an accident on my precious Plumb's from school, you can understand the pain in my heart. Lucky for me, the 10th edition was released not too long ago!It doesn't have the traditional Plumb's cover, which was a little disappointing, but never fear, the content is sure to bring you joy. It has some updated information that my old book didn't, such as capremorelin for cats, and I think new dosing for maropitant for cats. It also includes (pure) CBD in this edition. So, if you're like me and you like to while away the hours flipping through pharmacology, I can't recommend Plumb's 10th Edition, Hardcover, enough! Or, just at least buy it for your practice as a reference at least, I guess.

great to have on hand
This is a great product/book to have on hand if you work with dogs on a regular basis. Vets never tell you the side effects of the products they prescribe or use or try to get you to use on your dogs - they actually lead you to believe they are all safe as can be. This book helps cut through the BS to help you make a more informed decision on whether to use x product or not on your beloved animal.

If you have animals you need this book
How I’ve lived 6 decades without this book I don’t know. I have an animal sanctuary where homeless animals find themselves transported to a different way of life through love and tender compassion. I’ve had the book for a week and already used it twice, saving hundreds of dollars and time. Of course it’s no substitute for a veterinarian but for those familiar enough with animals, meds and veterinary medicine it’s 200% worth it.

adequate for my needs
I could tell it was made more cheaply now but it is acceptable as I am the only one using it. I always get the new addition and prefer book versus digital copy for this type of referencing. If I was not retired I would consider digital version for quick referencing but I like to read almost everything they have about a drug. Plumb's is still my first choice for veterinary drug handbook.
