Pint sized winner
I have used earlier simpler Godox products in my home studio for a number of years. After buying a new bridge camera (Panasonic DMC-FZ300) I wanted a strobe for it. This is perfect for the job, not too powerful to be sure, but it is much smaller than my DSLR flashguns from Metz (old 58AF-1 and Sigma EF610 Super) as well as a fraction of the price. The flashgun's operation is simple and easily navigated via the LCD screen. The guide number of 36 is more than enough for domestic use, with auto zoom, multi flash and the availability of firmware updates among the great features. It is wireless enabled and supports remote operation both as a master and slave. It is small and light enough to use on my old LX5 too. I like this so much I might buy either another or its bigger brother the TT685 as well as an X1To wireless transceiver. To conclude - highly recommended, small, light, easy to use, effective and very competitively priced.

Great little flash. Highly recommended.
Very well made like all Godox products. Works very well. I use it with 2900 mAh batteries and the flash recycled very quickly at just over 2 secs on manual full power and a pair of these lasted for a whole week of average shooting when travelling. I used it off camera (often held by a friend) and fired by an XT1 trigger. It works very well with this trigger and once set up there's no need to do a new set up when using on the camera hot shoe. Don't forget this is a small flash with modest output and like all flashes TTL use will reduce the max output due to pre-flashes using some of it's power It works very well within it's capabilities but it's not designed to be used with larger modifiers. Likewise HSS works very well but again reduces effective max output power due to the manner it achieves HSS by using a pulsed output. This is the same with all makes of flash using HSS. I own larger more powerful Godox flashes and I bought this as small handy travel option and it does this very well and it's very pocket-able. Highly recommended.

Cracking little flash. Eats batteries
Great little flash, does its job well, is compact, came with lots of useful accessories and brilliant value for money. The only downside with this unit is that it absolutely munches it's way through batteries. While I believe there is a different unit which is rechargable, I'd suggest that buyers invest in at least 8 rechargable double A batteries, because you are going to need them....

Bought it for my GH5 and I love it!
Great wee flash, only needs two AA batteries, which is handy. Bought this flash for my first photo gig, casual photography in a venue. It performed unreal, when batteries charged the flash reloads relatively fast. One advice, if you're going to use it for several hours - get loads of spare batteries and some on the go battery charger you can pin to a powerbank. One charged set of two batteries 2800mah lasted me for more or less 1hr of constant taking photos. I don't have much experience with other flashes, but I did my research, for the money this seemed one of the best options - 0 regrets. Heard lots of good stuff about this device. The TTL mode works so brilliant, if you are looking for a budget flash and you are considering the cheapest manual flashes - the extra 20 quid to buy this godox is so worth the money. Unless you need this for studio only use - sure, manual only flashes will do, but anything on the go, events/weddings - the TTL is amazing, absolute must. Overall super happy with the flash, works flawless with my LUMIX GH5.

Buttons are a bit fiddly for manual. In auto, its excellent. Recommended either way
It's very reasonably price for a dedicated flash. If you use it on auto all the time, it's five stars all day, every day as it never misses a beat. Or shot I suppose. The only negative is that on manual, the buttons are very fiddly. If your hands a freezing, setting it is a chore. Otherwise, it's great even if you don't take into account the low price.Recommended.Edited to add:I've had some reliability issues. I use the flash heavily, but it's only just a year old.It doesn't function on TTL. It's not the camera as it's stopped working on both of mine. It over-exposes on short distances, under-exposes on long. Manual function still works without problems and I use it that way all the time. The buttons are still a bit fiddly for a bloke with big hands and I don't look forward to the cold weather, irritatingly when I use flash almost all the time.A couple of other functions are unavailable. It uses batteries quickly. I have a back-up flash, a Yongnuo, that takes twice as many batteries, and almost doubles the weight of the set-up, but despite it being more powerful, it lasts ages.I think the problem is with the circuitry of the buttons. But that doesn't help much.Marked down to 3-stars. I nearly opted for two, but the price is reasonable for a manual flash.

Super Value.
One of the best and most simple to use flash guns that I have owned. I do a lot of macro and the Godox is excellent as the flash output is so easy to regulate. It has been very reliable and has surprisingly long battery life.So all in all delighted to highly recommend this excellent little flash unit.
