It's excellent! Took no time at all to get in ...
Searched for a while for a decent in-cupboard bin that wasn't mounted on the door (as it causes them to sag), eventually settled on this one as it was very reasonable price and seemed to fit the bill. I was definitely right! It's excellent! Took no time at all to get in hung thanks to a handy measuring guide thats included in instruction booklet. Just stick it to the inside of the cupboard - drill a few pilot holes and them whip it out and install the brackets.Turned what I expected to be an hour of swearing into 15 minutes of easy DIY!Looks great to boot!Size is 15L, so fine for my girlfriend and I, but I imagine would be too small for a family!

Good design and quality and easy to fit.
This was a replacement for the same bin. Looked at others but couldn’t find anything better or more value for money.

Bought as replacement and existing screw holes did not align.
We thought this bin was an exact replacement for our old bin, but it is slightly deeper and so the screw holes did not align which meant a bit of fiddling about to fit it. If fitting onto a cabinet with no pre-existing screw holes, there should be no problem.I haven't yet found the right size bin bags for it! In our old one which was also 15 ltrs, we were able to use 15 ltr waste paper basket liners in it. They are slightly too small for this one. Pedal bin liners are a bit oversized. I will continue to shop around and am sure I'll eventually find some that fit properly.Otherwise, the bin is fine!I was not sure how to answer the question on 'sheerness' as I don't know what is meant by it? If it refers to the general size and bulk of the bin, then it will, of course, fill up your cupboard. We have some space behind it - enough for a couple of bottles of washing up liquid and cleaning things, but not a lot. It's in a double cupboard under the sink and does take up a fair bit of space - but I think if you put a bin in a cupboard, that's what you should expect.

Looks ok. Flimsy
I bought this to replace an old Halo waste bin. I hoped that the fixing holes would be the same - they weren’t. However, fitting was ok with a bit of adjustment to avoid previous holes and the new bin looks fine. I will be surprised if it lasts 40 years as did the last one as it seems generally flimsy by comparison

Works well, looks good.
The bin looks smart and, after a month of use seems solid and is working well. The instructions are not that good, involving precise measurements in places that are not easy to measure. I think there is a simpler process, based on understanding how it works - the bin swings on an upper and lower pivot, and is pulled out when the cupboard door opens by a lug on the inside of the door that slides under the lower lip of the bin:1. Fit the lower pivot on the lower inside angle of the cupboard, on the side where the door hinge is. The pivot should be flush with the front edge of the cupboard. Put it in position, and screw to the cupboard side.2. To fit the upper pivot, assemble it (there is a pin that needs to be pushed into place), then put the bin into position, locating it on the lower pivot and holding the upper pivot so the door swings freely. The upper pivot should be flush with the side of the cupboard. Mark the correct position of the pivot with a pencil, then remove the bin. Screw the pivot in place, then refit the bin. It should now swing in and out.3. Fit the lug to the inside of the cupboard door. It should be about 11 cm out from the hinged door edge, and level with the bottom of the bin. To fit precisely, hold the lug assembly in place against the door, and put the lug under the lower lip of the bin. If it is in the right place, you should be able to open the door, and the bin should swing out with the door. Mark position with a pencil, unhook the bin. Screw the lug assembly to the door. Jiggle the bin over the lug.4. Fit the lid to the upper pivot assembly, and all is finished.Hope this helps!

Ideal under-sink waste bin
Easy fitting - exactly as per instructions and following video on You Tube. I particularly like the way the lid of the bin lifts open as you open the door under the sink and then the lid closes again as you shut the door reducing the chances of smells from the bin's contents.

So Pleased
The main thing about this bin was that I was able to fit it myself. It works perfectly under my sink. It's a bit big; if I have to replace it in the future I shall buy a smaller size for just 2 people!
