While it can't match the superior pigment load of Artists' Oil Colour, the Winton range is much stronger than many other artists' quality ranges. Winton uses moderately priced pigments rather than lessening the pigment content to an unacceptable level. Winsor and Newton formulation, manufacture and quality control ensure a product of absolute excellence. This set contains ten 1.25 oz (37 ml) tubes, including one each of Cadmium Yellow Pale Hue, Cadmium Red Deep Hue, French Ultramarine, Phthalo Blue, Viridian Hue, Permanent Green Light, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Ivory Black and Titanium White. I would say they are artist grade - in fact Winsor and Newton paints are the best you can get.
