These work great. Will cut fast in any direction. I use em on my dogs who have thick undercoat. Will heat up on the clipper part. I average one dog before they warm up. Let em rest for a while and do the other dog. They do have a cooling spray that will cool them but I'm not a sheep rancher and have plenty of time between dogs. Hope it helps

Great product for a great price. I have 3 sheep and it does overheat quickly but I’m no pro so I usually take break between sheep (I take awhile so I think the overheating is user error)

The media could not be loaded. These sheep shears definitely get the job done — they cut through my dog’s thick double coat with no problem at all. The downside is that they’re quite heavy and a bit awkward to handle, which makes longer grooming sessions tiring. I also noticed the cut isn’t the most even; my pup looked a little patchy when I was finished. Still, for tough coats they work really well, just be prepared for the extra weight and practice needed to get a smoother finish. Also, it's very loud, which is expected. I was on the second and third speed setting.

You can't beat it for the price. I've sheared 10 sheep so far and it works fine. I've been sure to follow the instructions and clean it well after every use. I don't expect the shears to perform like the outrageously priced competition but they get the job done just fine. They do run hot but keep a bucket of cold water handy and it'll be fine.

Used it the first time on my golden retriever and it was great. Used it a second time and it broke. A grear inside broke and I had to order a replacement part that will hopefully fix it. Buyer beware

Work great! But too good. BE CAREFUL! So extremely sharp and if they knick, they go deep. Returning after first use because of this. Even with experience this is scary!Also super loud but thats expected with size.

Works great. Finaly a clipper powerful enough to shave down a Great Pyrenees. A must have for owners of large dual coated dogs.
