Eterna EA4812 Multi Voltage Bell Chime Transformer

Doorbell chime transformer used (unsurprisingly) to provide power to a doorbell! Instructions were way over the top in detailing exactly what was required, which IMO is a good thing. Made it very easy to install perfectly. Only thing it might have been nice to add would be a paper template for the drilling holes, but given the rest of the detail provided I am happy to overlook this.

Bought as a replacement bell transformer, can set it to work with 4/8 or 12v AC bells, and initially i was worried about it being overvoltage, however it works fine on the bell now,What i would have liked is a clearer diagram in the unit itself telling what connection there are as the diagrams aren't very clear on the terminals themselves. and the cable grips don't give much room for routing the wires around it.However it works and is a little fiddly to install, but all is ok now.Comes with wall screws that need to be installed securely for a good job done.

It works ok, no humming. The voltage on mines reads 15.7v when set on the 12v option, hence the four stars. The supplier did offer to change it, but you have to pay the cost of postage. I kept the transformer, I use it to power an Aqara video Doorbell that has a wide operating range of between 12v-24v so it was not a problem for me.

Working exactly as expected in 12v mode with my Aqara G4 doorbell. Completely silent and easy to install.

Good value and well made product. Transformer is very quiet when running with no buzz.

Drilled holes to allow cables to enter from the rear to power my gen 1 ring door bell, works a treat
