How do you install it？

It may be possible to mount it on top of the vinyl siding and then caulk around the edge.

Do i have to remove the old electrical box to install this? old one fell off due weight of the new light

Yes, you will need to remove your old box. Make sure to shut off the power to that fixture, remove the light fixture, remove the box, slide the Octagon Siding Mounting Kit over the wiring (important: make sure the power to that circuit is OFF), attach it to the siding and then reinstalled your light fixture. If you’re not comfortable then call an electrician for the job. Good luck!

Its about an inch deep. It works well to replace an old existing square box that does not sit flush with the siding.

Exactly what I was looking for

The media could not be loaded. I needed to mount a security light on my garage and have used these in the past. I was able to buy them at my local Menards in the past but they no longer carry them so I turned to Amazon. The quality is exactly the same as the ones I've purchased from local store in the past, might even been the same brand. They install effortlessly and look great on vinyl siding. I will be purchasing more.

worked great with ring camera

It Fit great with the camera, however my siding spacing was different then what was cut for the mounting block but I made it work and filled in the space so that no insects would make their home. If I wasn't limited on time I might have tried another type but this looked and matched great and gives a professional appearance to the fixtures.

Works as expected, solid product

Good product, but we've got 6" siding rather than 4" so there was extra work. Can't seem to find the same product for 6" siding.

Really nice mounting block/box combo

Installed quickly on side of garage

We have vinyl siding on the garage and wanted to install a security spotlight.This mounting bracket fits a wyze cam spotlight version one with no issues. The mounting hardware is included but I need an extra foam to seal to keep bugs like hornets wasps from crawling in and making a nest

Since there aren't any pictures im providing as much as i can. The holes for attaching fixtures to the plate is 3-1/2" (8.89cm) apart. The overall size is 6-5/8" (16.83cm).the cavity is 4-1/8" (10.48cm) in diameter and 5/8" (1.58cm) deep
