i was very pleased with how well this worked. my roots were a mess very grey and although i had an appointment booked it was after a planned weekend away as hairdresser was in holiday. i bought this not really expecting much but it was really effective. I got the brown colour which worked well for my hair colour (brown with blonde highlights) i possibly could have gone lighter to dark blonde but the brown was absolutely fine. really worth the money in my opinion

Good coverage, dries out the hair. Lasts for a long time, but washes out. Only problem is that when you scratch your head, you get black under your fingernails!Works well, definitely recommend it.

This root cover spray is very good. It's coverage is nice and even and stays put until hair is washed. I change my hair colour with the seasons, sometimes lighter, sometimes darker and I love the range of colours that this product offers. I can get a true match root cover, depending on my current hair colour. The price is great and the can lasts quite a long time, obviously depending on how much or often it is used.My only suggestion, to improve this product, would be the addition of a brush, as you can see the product on your scalp and a little brush would allow one to blend the colour better. Also, the spray isn't precise enough to spray on or near the hairline, so a brush would allow one to spray the product onto says brush, before applying it to the hairline with easy blending.My personal tip: use before applying makeup or getting dressed as product can speckle the face or clothing. Inspect face after application.

Perfect match for my roots! I was originally a strawberry blonde, but am now going white. I use the 7.3 shade to colour my hair every 4 weeks and this touches up the roots in the last week before I colour my hair again. I only use it on my parting and it lasts for ages. Very simple to use.

I use the dark brown one and it matches my dark brown hair dye really well. I no longer feel ashamed about my roots after growth of about 2 weeks after dying my hair. I can last the full 4-6 weeks until I dye my hair again. Only use a little from a fair distance because overuse will make your hair feel dry and stiff. It lasts until my next wash and it has not stained any clothes or pillow cases. This product was recommended by my hairdresser and I am glad she did.

I bought the dark brown for my brown hair colour and it was a tad too dark for me, but that's better than it being too light so I worked with it. Firstly, the good: the product gives you great coverage and it lasts until your next wash, you don't need to keep reapplying it every day. It's easy to use, and dries well wtihout residue. The bad: the major downside is there are definitely not 23 sprays as advertised on the package. This can make it a very expensive alternative to dying roots every two weeks. I managed to get 5 or so days/uses out of it. The comparisons: It's a bit stickier than the Superdrug brown dry shampoo which means it's also less powdery and seems to be what gives it its staying power. It's also less sticky than the Root Perfect dark brown (which is quite similar and I do like quite a lot). Overall I prefer this to the other dry shampoo / root touch ups because of its flexible hold and therefore less likely to break the hair. I would definitely buy again to have as back up, but it's too expensive to rely on for regular use.

Fabulous!In summary: buy this only if your life is missing chaos and your hair is craving confusion. Otherwise, steer clear unless you're going to a fancy dress party as Big Bird!
