If you are looking for a cheap chrome dimmer you probably seen that just about all of them have issues/bad reviews. Even (somewhat) known brands are not immune to issues. It may be best to make your own dimmer using a chrome plate and a known back - especially if you are planning to connect LEDs.For incandescent bulbs (e.g. G9) this works well. For LEDs it also works if you are using good quality ones - e.g. Philips Master - but watch out minimum load. For under say 20W load you may get flicker - as I do with 2-4x Philips G9 Master LEDs. If you're driving bigger/more LEDs then you may be fine. There is a hum but again when the load is low.Also one chrome cap is loose (on each of my dimmers) on the plastic knob and both had to be glued back.Yes the back is deep - a shallow patress will not work. Either invest in a spacer, e.g. 5mm (except you generally only find 10mm) or, better a frame / finger guard / whatever name but check thickness - may need to use a 3mm+ one or spend time rearranging the wires.All in all it is cheap considering competition - let's see if it lasts. 4 stars due to (relatively) cheap price.

Good Switch
Looks nice, was easy to fit and works as intended.

Works with LED lights
I used this to replace a dimmer that wasn't working correctly. Thr old dimmer stopped dimming on one of the lights and kept flickering on the other that did dim. This replacement sorted the problem. Works great and good value.

Easy to assemble, great value for money, looks alot fancier than price

Watch out for the depth of the dimmer
Decent quality, unfortunately the depth required to fit the dimmer is about 10mm deeper than my back box so could not fit. Will get a new back box and hollow out wall when I get a chance
