Directions 1. Place the Barley Straw Bale in the pond. 2. Wait for the bale to get wet, releasing the natural enzyme to combat algae growth. 3. Use the product to treat algae in duckweed. 4. Replace every 8 weeks. 5. For persistent algae problems, use 2 bales per 3000 gallons of water.

Just be mindful to attach the bale to string so that when its time to change it you can find it again easily.
